Cyclone2
Using tragedy to advance an agenda has been a strategy for many global warming activists, and it was just a matter of time before someone found a way to tie the recent Myanmar cyclone to global warming, says Jeff Poor at Business and Media Institute. Somebody wind up AL GORE...

Former vice president tells NPR's 'Fresh Air' cyclone is example of 'consequences that scientists have long predicted might be associated with continued global warming.' [snip]

“And as we’re talking today, Terry, the death count in Myanmar from the cyclone that hit there yesterday has been rising from 15,000 to way on up there to much higher numbers now being speculated,” Gore said. “And last year a catastrophic storm from last fall hit Bangladesh. The year before, the strongest cyclone in more than 50 years hit China – and we’re seeing consequences that scientists have long predicted might be associated with continued global warming.”

Actually Al, the death total at this moment is guestimated at 60,000.

Al Gore should be happy at 60,000 FEWER HUMANS BREATHING AND INCREASING THEIR CARBON FOOTPRINT, ... fewer humans make for a healthier earth, don't they Al??? Well, if everybody would just DIE, the earth would be safe, right Al??? Isn't that what you preach Al???

Greenmen
FBI Director Robert Mueller said last week that the FBI has uncovered small groups of Al Qaida terrorists, terror cells, in the United States, crediting the American Muslim community -- Mueller defended the FBI’s Muslim outreach program that critics say have put the bureau in a role of providing legitimacy to Muslim groups that support overseas extremists. (World Tribune)

“And every opportunity I have, I reaffirm the fact that 99.9 percent of Muslim-Americans or Sikh-Americans, Arab-Americans are every bit as patriotic as anybody else in this room, and that many of our cases are a result of the cooperation from the Muslim community in the United States,” Mueller said

Mueller also admitted he believes in UFO's, little green men, the tooth fairy, and ghosts. (Not really, I'm just joking.) But if he believes those statistics he may as well believe in little green men.

Continuing, the United States asks begs Pakistan to live up to it's commitment in the war on terror -- begging Pakistan to live up to its commitment of urgently bringing security under control in its remote tribal areas allegedly used as safe haven by Al-Qaeda and Taliban militants. (National Terror Alert)

Allegedly??? Allegedly????

The call came amid worries in Washington that the new coalition government led by Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, which is negotiating with a Taliban commander, may strike a deal with militants and undermine a long “war on terror” partnership.

Suspicious Ferry Passengers Identified and Cleared After Global Manhunt - Seattle: The two men who the FBI had been looking for since passengers reported them acting strangely on a Washington state ferry last August have been found and are not considered a threat. (National Terror Alert) I feel so much better (sarcasm).

The only way we found who these men were is because they came forward on their own. How do we know they are harmless? Because they say so? Will this deter American citizens from reporting 'suspicious' actions in the future? I sure hope not.

Hi Debbie

The Burma cyclone is a tragic event adding misery to the already deplorable lives of the people.

But do you know what's more tragic, the politicians (not including Aung San Su Kyi, no word about her) on the opposition side are more concerned about the May 10 referendum on the new constitution.

These sick minds should have been washed away by the cyclone. :-) --Durano, done!
