Something SMELLS my friends. Pee-U ! The media have been asking the campaign for copies for months now, and suddenly they provide a copy to DailyKos???

My niece, Katelyn, stationed at Baluud , Iraq was assigned, with others of her detachment, to be escort/guard/ watcher for Martha Raddatz of ABC News as she covered John McCain's recent trip to Iraq . Katelyn and her Captain stood directly behind Raddatz as she queried GI's walking past. They kept count of the GI's and you should remember these numbers. She asked 60 GI's who they planned to vote for in November. 54 said John McCain, 4 for Obama and 2 for Hillary. Katelyn called home and told her Mom and Dad to watch ABC news the next night because she was standing directly behind Raddatz and maybe they'd see her on TV. Mom and Dad of course, called and emailed all the kinfolk to watch the newscast and maybe see Katelyn. Well, of course, we all watched and what we saw wasn't a glimpse of Katelyn, but got a hell' uva view of skewed news. After a dissertation on McCain's trip and speech, ABC showed 5 GI's being asked by Raddatz how they were going to vote in November; 3 for Obama and 2 for Clinton. No mention of the 54 for McCain.
Coming from ABC, why am I not surprised!
No surprises at all.
Then don't vote for him...and more importantly, work on McCain's behalf to keep Obama from winning.

Stormwarning: I think we have to look at all aspects of a candidate. This seems to be a unique situation though. Never before have we had such a candidate at Obama, with terrorist ties, with foreign connections, with radical Nation of Islam connections, and on and on....

All too much time is spent on attacking Obama as a man instead of focussing on the fact that in general, and especially compared to John McCain, he has no experience. Focus on that, and I can engage in discussion. Focus on all of the innuendo and character assassination, and I bow out. I even commente dto a friend yesterday that Senator Clinton has far more experience than Obama. You may disagree with Hillary, but if you're able to put on a filter and forget that she is married to Bill (which all too many people cannot do), you have a record of her public service. You don't have to agree with her positions, but at least she's out there. And BTW, as a Senator from NY State, she's been a fine representative of her constituents. She's protected jobs in NY State and brought funds for programs. Aside from that her service on Armed Services has been meritable. She serves the country better as a Senator, as a Member of Armed Services and possibly even the future Majority Leader in the Senate. All of this other stuff about Obama is a waste of pixels IMO.

Many of us feel there is no good candidate for president, 2008.
I would like to see the two we have to work with understand that THEY WILL ANSWER TO LEGAL VOTERS IF THEIR AGENDA IS NOT OUR AGENDA.
For the past year and 1/2, I have visited a website called ImpeachBushNow. I have watched the numbers climb, slowly and surely, to over ONE MILLION SIGNATURES, as the utter incompetence of the Bush administration unfolds daily.
There is a movement to impeach moving forward in the US House which was introduced by Dennis Kucinich.
If you want to send a message to Obama and McCain consider sending one to Bush.

It's funny, Obama release his birth certificate to squelch the Christofascist conspiracy mongers. Now, these same people attempt to cast doubt upon the veracity of the certificate. It's funny how hard Christofascists work to keep a silly conspiracy theory on life support. Too bad they didn't work this hard to get a Christofascist on the Republican ticket.

I'm not asking the question, but it is a valid concern whether a candidate is legally entitled to run for president. Didn't the Dem's raise that question with respect to McCain?
I do not think this birth certificate is real. There is no reason to block out the certificate registration number, and there is no authenticating signature of a state official. So . . . is BO a legal citizen, or not?

Debbie I read your comment and I agree with you. But sadly there really is no more true conservatives - Bush proved that.
Right now as much as I hate to say it, Fred Thompson would have been better than McCain. He is so fake. Of course the alternative, Obama is another fake but worse because he is really still Muslim.

The Kenyan birth story was flimsy anyway........HOWEVER, there are plenty of other reasons to deny B.Hussein.O' the vote. The problem is....McCain is a wreckless moron also. Both are Globalists who have already indicated that they have no intention of honouring their oath "to defend the Constitution of the United States". Both care more about the economies of Communist China, The Islamic Ummah, and Mexico than they do the well being of American citizens, so which ultra-leftist America-hater should we pretend to vote for?
