Terrorists Seek Converts in New York City
Disturbing: "An Islamic group plans to blitz 1,000 subway cars with advertisements this September in a campaign being promoted by a Brooklyn imam whom federal officials have linked to a plot to blow up city landmarks." US Attorney Mary Jo White even named Wahhaj one of 170 unindicted co-conspirators in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and the thwarted plan to blow up a slew of buildings.
"In time, this so-called democracy will crumble, and there will be nothing, and the only thing that will remain will be Islam," Wahhaj said in one of his sermons.
The stark, black-and-white ads of the Subway Project promote Islam with the goals of clearing up long-held misconceptions about the faith and reaching out to those interested in becoming Muslim, according to the Islamic Circle of North America, the group behind the campaign.

These ads are sponsored by a group called Why Islam.org, (877-why-islam) supposedly to 'fight Islamaphobia":
"Anyone who looks at this ad objectively can see that it is not preaching anything," Azeem Khan, the group's assistant secretary general, told The Post. "There is a lot of Islamaphobia out there. We provide people with a chance to speak with an actual Muslim who is informed."

What the heck are people like Wahhaj doing giving invocations at the House of Representatives or any other US government institution?

Another one of those things that makes you feel sick inside...weak and sick...This is outrageous...and I would expect it in canada especially toronto, but in New York it is just so very very very sad...Hopefully taggers and people who will risk getting caught will paint profanity all over the ads and include the names of the islamic gods and prophets...referring to them as pigs and dogs but this is probably too scary...it might risk another bomb and don't those backward islamic lunatics know it..We're in a time when everyone is afraid to stand up to them...at least in canada that's what it's like here...

When western societies start calling for and ensuring the deportation of people like this is when we will start to hold the line against the global jihad, not to be confused with actually winning it. Right now with crap like this, we are basically inviting them into our midst to do as they please. I guess those two missing towers weren't enough to wake everyone up.

New York City Mayor Bloomberg and the NYPD Commish...have told their officers to "leave the Moslems alone"....Siraj Wahaj was specifically mentioned in this regard.
