Obama's peverted communist friend Frank Marshall Davis
Cliff Kincaid writes about a Daily Telegraph article on Communist Frank Marshall Davis "a strong influence over a young Barack Obama for nine years of his life, rather than just four, and was a sex pervert and pothead."
Davis’s alleged sexual perversion adds a dramatic and alarming element to the controversy. Harnden reports that Davis’s sexual proclivities were documented in a 1968 pornographic novel, written just two years before Davis became Obama’s mentor, which was titled, Sex Rebel: Black (Memoirs of a Gourmet Gash). Davis wrote the book, which is now generally unavailable, under a pseudonym, Bob Greene.
Harnden flatly asserts that “The book, which closely tracks Mr. Davis’s life in Chicago and Hawaii and the fact that his first wife was black and his second white, describes in lurid detail a series of shockingly sordid sexual encounters, often involving group sex. One chapter concerns the seduction by Mr. Davis and his first wife of a 13-year-old girl called Anne. Mr. Davis wrote that it was the girl who had suggested he had sex with her.”
Harnden added, “He then described how he and his wife would have sex with the girl” many times over the course of several weeks. “On other occasions,” he added, “Mr. Davis would cruise in Hawaii parks looking for couples or female tourists to have sex with. He derived sexual gratification from bondage, simulated rape and being flogged and urinated on.”
This explosive information, if the character in the book is actually based on Davis’s own experiences, would further demonstrate why Obama would want to cover up Davis’s true identity in his book, calling him just “Frank.”
There is no question that Davis wrote the book under the pseudonym of “Bob Greene.” John Edgar Tidwell, the editor of other books by Davis, has confirmed this is the case. But Tidwell has questioned how much of Sex Rebel is based on Davis’s own life experiences and describes it as “semi-autobiographical.”
Harnden acknowledged to AIM that Davis “left himself some wiggle room, not least I suppose because of the possibility of prosecution” for statutory rape of a 13-year-old.
But in the introduction to Livin’ the Blues, a book by Davis that Tidwell edited, Tidwell reveals that Davis left behind after his death an uncompleted manuscript, “The Incredible Waikiki Jungle,” which describes how Davis “specialized in sex” during the period 1969-1976. No details are provided by Tidwell. He also says that Davis wrote another unpublished manuscript called “Mixed Sex Salad.”
Whether the book Sex Rebel is entirely based on Davis or not, the controversy certainly demonstrates that Davis had a perverted sexual interest and should not have been trusted as a mentor for any young person.
Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell
Obama has not publicly responded to growing concern about his relationship with Davis, and whether Davis’s influence went beyond ideology to matters of a sexual nature. However, during a campaign appearance on Thursday, Obama accused Jerome Corsi, author of The Obama Nation, of “making stuff up” about him. Corsi devotes part of chapter 3 of his book to Davis’s role as a “Communist mentor” for Obama.
But the Obama campaign’s 40-page so-called rebuttal to Corsi’s book confirms and does not deny the Obama relationship with Davis. The rebuttal, however, doesn’t acknowledge that Davis was a communist and instead tries to depict him as a civil rights activist by dishonestly editing an article about Davis. It makes no mention of Davis’s Sex Rebel book and his interest in pornography.
With the allegations about Davis’s life as a sex pervert and consumer of illegal drugs, the pressure could mount on Obama to come clean about the mysterious relationship.
But the pressure may not be coming from the “conservative” Fox News Channel.
On August 18th, Fox News aired a special program, “Presidential Character & Conduct 2008: Barack Obama,” which not only ignored Frank Marshall Davis but the association of Obama with Communist terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn. The program, narrated by Bill Hemmer, a former anchor for CNN, mostly relied on friends, associates and a friendly biographer of Obama for information about the candidate.
While the program did include information about Obama’s relationship with convicted felon Tony Rezko, it concluded that Obama did nothing illegal and ignored Rezko’s involvement with a controversial Iraqi-born billionaire, Nadhmi Auchi, who has been pressuring the media to stop running negative stories about him.
One has to wonder if Auchi or his representatives got to Fox News Channel, whose parent company, News Corporation, is run by Rupert Murdoch, a vocal supporter of Obama, and is owned in part by an Arab-based Middle Eastern company. (read it all)

The pornography disinformation against Frank Marshall Davis is just as heinous as the political disinformation. Further, it suggests that those making such false accusations may
be projecting their own libidinous psychological disorders onto Davis.
Frank Marshall Davis wrote a pornographic novel under the pseudonym Bob Greene, one chapter of which is devoted to the protagonist and his wife having sex with a thirteen year old girl, according to a British website (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/uselection2008/barackobama/2601914/Frank-Marshall-Davis-alleged-Communist-was-early-influence-on-Barack-Obama.html) on 24 August. According to the British website, "Mr. Davis (writing as Greene) explains that although he has “changed names and identities…all incidents I have described have been taken from actual experiences."
In a same day report citing the British website, "Accuracy In Media" (AIM) reported that Edgar Tidwell, an "expert in the life and writing of Davis" confirms that Frank Marshall Davis wrote "Sex Rebel: Black" as a semi-autobiographical novel. Despite Tidwell's expert opinion that the novel was SEMI-autobiographical, AIM's Cliff Kincaid escalated accusations against Davis by first claiming he was a sex pervert (http://www.aim.org/aim-column/obamas-red-mentor-was-a-pervert/) in their 24 August report. (Kincaid falsely attributed the "pervert" claim to the British website.) On 14 October, AIM again escalated the charges by claiming Davis was an "admitted child molester" (http://www.aim.org/aim-column/was-a-communist-obamas-sex-teacher/).
There are at least four distinct disclaimers that indemnify Frank Marshall Davis from literal attribution of this novel:
a. According to dictionary.com, "identity" means "condition or character as to who a person or what a thing is: a case of mistaken identity." Changing name AND identities means changing names AND other "condition or character as to who a person or what a thing is," which may include biographical data such as age.
b. "Taken from actual experiences" does not mean they are accurate representations of actual experiences. It only means they are based on actual experiences.
c. Edgar Tidwell, the expert on the life and writing of Frank Marshall Davis, says the book is "semiautobiographical," which (according to dictionary.com) means "1. pertaining to or being a fictionalized account of an author's own life. 2. pertaining to or being a work of fiction strongly influenced by events in an author's life."
d. Further, scandalous memoirs such as "Sex Rebel: Black (Memoirs of a Gash Gourmet)" have been a literary genre for centuries. According to Wikipedia, such fictional novels are allegedly factual, but are largely invented. The title, alone, qualifies it as a "scandalous memoir."
In an honest evaluation, any of these disclaimers should protect the author from literal interpretation. The combination of all four should provide absolute protection from any culpability. Unfortunately, Davis's accusers are dishonest. Like Mike Nifong, the disgraced ex-D.A. in the Duke lacrosse case, their campaign to demonize their target ignores exculpatory evidence in their reckless rush to judgment. In order to smear Barack Obama through guilt-by-association with Frank Marshall Davis, they are virtually lynching Davis by grossly misrepresenting his character and influence. Such misrepresentation may be symptomatic of the accuser's own psychological disorder, indicated by projection of the accuser's own pedophilic fantasies onto the author.
In "Sex Rebel," Davis's Bob Greene (not unlike Nabokov's Humbert Humbert) hesitates at a pubescent girl's sexual invitation, but foolishly relents. Like "Lolita," Davis's faux foreword is written by a Ph.D impersonator who details the psychological significance of the memoir. Like Nabokov, Davis wanted to write under a pseudonym to shield his reputation, but felt compelled to reveal his authorship. As a result, however, Davis has been posthumously accused of pedophilia, while "Lolita" is "considered by many to be one of the finest novels written in the 20th century." In 1998, it was named the fourth greatest English language novels of the 20th century by the Modern Library," despite also being initially dismissed as pornography, according to Wikipedia.
This deliberate misrepresentation is only the latest in a long series of falsehoods by AIM professional prevaricators. Their "specific misrepresentation" is documented at http://my.barackobama.com/page/community/post/Kaleokualoha/gGxdvX. I invite any person of integrity to refute my evidence against any of these AIM lies. If AIM had authentic evidence of Davis's radical influence, they would not need to fabricate such evidence.

Colonel: Yes he has been visiting many blogs who reported on this, leaving comments. He sounds legit, but who knows.

True or false, I do not know, I just read this: In a Honolulu news conference on October 22nd Martin disclosed that Frank Marshall Davis was the biological father of Barack Obama, not Barack Obama senior. The Obama campaign has not denied Martin's claim.

It is easy to condemn Communism because it was a godless program, but God's idea of government is not Capitolism or Democracy; it is closer to communism.
Bible: Acts 2:44,45 (After Jesus's resurrection:
":44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common; :45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men as every man had need." It is when you leave God's rules out of the picture that things turn ugly.

Dear RightTruth:
Man, thanks for this great little bit on Frank the Wank, friend of all young developing teens everywhere..
Hey, just another freakish beyond belief beam to add to the Madhouse That Obama Built.

Oh, now Jerome Corsi is kicked out of Kenya with more to know about the true Obama. Obama has been helping a very radical candidate to get elected by teaching him all the illegal tactics and it has worked. Jerome Corsi will be publishing this soon, hopefully before it is too late.

What should we make of Barack Obama's unsettling associations with Terrorist Bill Ayers, Communist sex pervert Frank Marshall Davis, Racist Anti-American pastor Jeremiah Wright and others. Guilt by association? Innocent until proven guilty? Such defenses of ongoing voluntary personal relationships are absurd! These legal principles were designed to insure that persons who have committed no crime are not sent to jail. They have no bearing whatever on the question of whether or not a man should be honored with the presidency of the United States, and it is an abuse of common sense to suggest that they do. Like "red baiting", they are emotional prods intended to goose us over the hurdle of our own critical judgment. What is more, the leftists who offer such slogans in defense of Barack Obama's many unsavory connections are utterly insincere in using them. If John McCain had a comparable relationship with David Duke, or Timothy McVeigh, or (heaven forbid) Jerry Falwell, can anyone imagine Lanny Davis or Paul Begala defending him with such irrelevant nostrums? Hardly! A single kind word about senator Strom Thurmond cost Trent Lott his senate Republican leadership position. Meanwhile, Bill Clinton was celebrating, at no political cost, his association with the openly racist senator William Fullbright, whom he called his "mentor". And Democrat senator Robert Byrd, a former Klansman, was using the word "nigger" with impunity on Sunday morning television. There is wisdom in the old proverbs. Birds of a feather do flock together, and one is in fact known by the company he keeps. No one is suggesting that we haul Barack Obama before a judge! But we do have very deep misgivings about the notion that we should entrust our country with him and his dubious cronies!

Bernie: Thanks for the link and comment. Yes you are correct, just knowing someone doesn't make you 'like' that person. However, I think Obama absorbed much communist ideology from this man and from Obama's other associations.
By definition, if you want to take from one group and give to another, you are communist.

My first wife's father was a leading Communist in Poland in the late 60s, however I have been a lifelong Libertarian and our relationship had no affect on me politically.
Having a Communist mentor means nothing if Obama came out of the relationship without being influenced by Communist principles. That today Obama wants to whack it to rich people on principle even if it reduces government revenues shows that at heart Obama was indeed influenced by his mentor and in a bad way.
What he took out of the deal is what is important, not the relationship per se.
Just FYI for your readers, I linked to this article from my post, 13 Myths about Barack Obama: http://plancksconstant.org/blog1/2008/09/13_myths_about_barack_obama.html

Aloha! So based on the reports of Davis' own editor Tidwell, the sexual apex -- perversity, group sex, drugs and booze -- of Frank Davis' life was in Wakiki during the years 1969-1976.
According to Obama's Wikipedia bio: "He returned to Honolulu to live with his maternal grandparents while attending Punahou School from the fifth grade in 1971 until his graduation from high school in 1979. As an adult Obama admitted that during high school he used marijuana, cocaine, and alcohol, which he described at the 2008 Civil Forum on the Presidency as his greatest moral failure."
The two men's periods of perversity and moral failure overlap closely and are literally right around the corner -- in the same walking neighborhood!
And Obama, in "Dreams From My Father", admits he had a close black "poet" of a mentor there in Wakiki named "Frank", who mentored Obama until he was 18 -- 1979.
Mahalo! Ain't that sweet!
Obama admits he was greatly influenced by Frank. So yes, we should be concerned.
To be sure, like the young Palin girl now mom-to-be, Obama was young and very able to be influenced. It may be he did learn his lesson, and one hopes that means he resolved to run away from such behavior.
Yet that is NOT what the loving description Obama, as an adult, gives to his mentoring by Frank, is it?
Posted by: bvw | September 19, 2008 at 10:03 AM
All rightie then. Do I have this right? The sexual misconduct of Palin's family, over which the nominee actually has influence, should be off-limits. Yet the sexual misconduct of Obama's "mentor," over which the nominee had no influence, should be on-limits. Is this correct?

After reading the same information in a article in the Telegraph (U.K.), I started emailing links to everyone I know. When more people learn of it, Obama can kiss his election good-bye.

This is an awful lot of mud to be slinging when the accuracy of the factual premises is uncertain:
" ... if the character in the book is actually based on Davis’s own experiences, ..." and
"Whether the book Sex Rebel is entirely based on Davis or not, ..."
Why don't you say something relevant to say about BHO or his policies?
Posted by: Mark In Irvine | August 26, 2008 at 08:44 PM
I suspect that after November this all will be played out in the MSM. And it is good fodder for an impeachment trial if he gets elected.
Posted by: Katie | August 26, 2008 at 03:32 PM
What more would it take to derail this train? How many more scandalous relationships need to be uncovered before the Obama lovers come to their senses? How many more serious -- ominous questions must we have about this man's true character before we act?
