What Republicans Want...

Many of us are so tired of politics.  We're not happy with McCain, but we know America cannot survive for long with Obama as President.  Republicans want somebody they can love, like they loved Reagan.

[snip]

Conservatives are now faced with a presidential candidate, Barack Obama who is a younger image of all the things that Jimmy Carter stood for, although the media try to cast him as a Messiah.  [snip]

There is so much not to love about Barack Obama. I find it unsettling that some conservatives have found nothing to love about Senator John McCain. Being a pragmatist I have found quite a few lovable qualities in the man and his policies.

Senator John McCain is not only running against Barack Obama in this presidential election, he is competing with the memory of Ronald Reagan. Many conservatives (and I count myself as one) are disappointed with McCain’s independent mantle but he’s square on conservative when it comes to national security and supporting the troops.  (continue reading at The Wide Awake Cafe)

The above article is a MUST MUST MUST READ. Here's what we are dealing with:

Barack Hussein Obama has been accepting campaign donations from people in GAZA.

...  NamePali_loves_obama is Monir Edwan.  City is Rafah and the State is GA.  You'd think GA is for  Georgia.  IT'S NOT!  There is no Rafah Georgia. It's Rafah GAZA. Although  election donor data indicate Georgia, USA here: Donation Details: Adwan, Monir | Rafah, Georgia. There ain't no such place in the land of Georgia peaches.  (continue reading)

I don't suppose those Gaza contributors were included in the Obama Plan for Victory, which includes
using the words “attack ads” and “racism”.  I wonder if that plan includes having Google/Blogger take down sites that are anti-Obama???  Ad some more sites that have been taken down.

Obama is having some trouble with African American hecklers, but guess what group they are connected to... International People's Democratic Uhuru Movement:

...  The Barack Obama campaign cannot accuse the people that heckled him at a during a town hall gathering in St. Petersburg,Florida, of being racist because they were six black members of the International Peoples' Democratic Uhuru Movement which is an international African socialist group.

According to Top of the Ticket, in an update, Diop Olugbala, 31 (the man that was allowed to ask the question in the video above), he says about Obama in an interview, "He falls short with the black community."

The chair of the organization is Omali Yeshitela, who created a YouTube video which denounces Obama in video called "white power in black face."  (read it all at Wake Up America)

Obama still can't admit that the surge worked and that we are winning in Iraq.  I suppose businesses like Kentucky Fried Chicken and the tourism industry think differently.  In fact, Iraq is safer that 12 major U.S. cities.

I'm wondering if Obama is happy with Wachovia, Bank of America, IBM, Glaxco, and other corporations submitting to sharia?

Wachovia has set up mosques prayer rooms for Muslims complete with Islamic foot baths for employees (possibly non-employees as well). Bank of America, IBM, and Glaxo apparently have done the same or plan to, and so sharia creeps in North Carolina and corporate America. Did it only take two Muslim employees to force two of the worlds largest banks to succumb.  (continue reading)

Maybe the above is part of the submission to CAIR pontificates list of demands -- including "apologies," "religious accommodations," and "sensitivity and diversity training" -- to Abercrombie.  We also have 'Christian' pastors saying Islam worships the same God Christians do, it's a religion of peace, blah blah blah.

I don't suppose Obama will be interested in this:  New Study, "The Need for an Integrated National Asymmetric Threat Strategy"

Obama has flipped (or is it flopped?) on the Olympics again... "Barack Obama’s campaign will be among the TV sponsors of NBC Universal’s Olympics coverage."

Obama Wants YOU

Election '08:  Barack Obama calls it "Universal Voluntary Public Service." We call it a plan for national involuntary servitude. Kennedy asked us what we could do for our country. Obama has ways to make us volunteer.  Oh yes, Obama wants to be like Robin Hood, taking from the rich (oil companies) and giving to the poor (or should I say those who live beyond their means).

Last but not least, McCain finally grows a pair and does an excellent video/ad.  This goes along perfectly with Behold:  The Anointed One.  "There is no spoon:  Obama is the one"  McCain mocks the anointed one.  Maybe we should not underestimate McCain.  Some people don't think this kind of ad is effective, but I do.

It seems some Republicans actually grew some balls too.  The Democrats have gone on vacation (turned out the lights) but the Republicans keep on working.

Last, but not least:  Obama is soft on drugs and ultimately will be soft on law enforcement and punishment.  (Some Things Just Need To Be Said).

And from Sticky Notes:

As always, Ramirez at Town Hall.

Icing on the cake:  Hamas leader's son converts to Christianity! from Infidels are Cool:

Ouch!

The son of West Bank Hamas leader Sheikh Hassan Yousef, the most popular figure in that extremist Islamic organization, a young man who assisted his father for years in his political activities, has become a Christian…

Bernie:

You are very welcome.

Thanks kindly for the link; it's greatly appreciated.

Watch as McSame panders to those who enter the US illegally, and presumably will find the means to vote [illeagally] for the Arafat-Chavez-Castro-La Raza candidate. (Don't whine..research the organisations that mcCain is affiliated with....and share an affiliation with the above-mentioned commies)

Our choice is this....Do we want a senile, white, Communist sympathiser..or a devout Marxist of undetermined race?

There was only one Ronald Wilson Reagan, and he is gone. The two candidates that we are to choose from are not what we need, but one is definitely better than the other. Hint - his last name doesn't begin with "o"...

I think the ad actually sucks. Not because of my ideological stance, and I have no love for Obama. But, it seems to actually play Obama up, in a funny kind of way. It actually focuses so much on Obama that I forgot it was a McCain ad. From a purely strategic point of view, that would be a terrible ad to run for McCain, and actually be free advertsing for Obama.

I think the fact that most of us revere the Regan legacy is not a bad thing. Setting our goals to this high standard should exhibit nothing but excellence to those that come even close to to Regan. On the other hand, we must also remember that Obama, and everything he represents, is the enemy of how we envision our great country. We must never lose sight of the ever important goal of an Obama defeat.

Excellent post.

Do you think the cowards in corporate America (who happen to be cowards) at Wachovia, Bank of America, IBM, Glaxco, etc. would even CONSIDER building a small chapel for Christians/Catholics? How about bringing in a priest for Ash Wednesday?

I could go on, but why bother.

"Senator John McCain is not only running against Barack Obama in this presidential election, he is competing with the memory of Ronald Reagan."

Fantastic point and dead right. Too many in the GOP are obsessed with Reagan to the point where no other candidate is acceptable. We need to honor Reagan yes, but get past him too.

I urge everyone to go out and contact their local Republican party (we're organized by county if you're not aware) and offer their services. Also, go to John McCain's website and sign up to receive email alerts so you'll know what's going on in your area.
