Obama, it's Sarah ... want to come out and play?
Sarah Palin gracefully put Barack Obama and Joe Biden in their places with her speech at the Republican National Convention Wednesday night. I could almost hear her thinking, "Oh Obama, I want to play with yooouuuu. Come out, come out, wherever you are! If you can't stand the heat ... get out of the kitchen Obama"
All the Obama camp had to say about Palin's speech, was that " ... her speech was written by George Bush’s speech writer and demonstrated the same divisive politics that Bush did."
All Harry Reid has to say was that Palin's speech was shrill. No Harry, that was Hillary Clinton that was shrill. Translation: they are basically speechless.
MSNBC had *cough* excellent analysis of Palin's speech, getting things wrong as they usually do:
Tonight, Chuck Todd pointed out that Palin had sold a private jet on E-bay, the implication being that this woman is out of touch with ordinary Americans, who can't afford a private jet. Just one catch: The jet belonged to the state of Alaska and was sold to cut down on state expenses. (continue reading)
One reason they hate Palin is because she supports Israel.
The Daily Mail:
How long will it be until Obama throws Joe Biden under the heavily populated proverbial BUS, and goes crawling back to Hillary Clinton? No it won't happen, the you know he's kicking himself in his skinny posterior for not picking Hillary.
OK. Move over The Chosen One. Here comes The Natural.
Listening to Jackson talk radio before the speech, George B. who is a Libertarian, stated that he might have to leave the Libertarians and vote for McCain and Palin, because he sure could not vote for Obama, who's "got the whole world, in his hands... he's got the whole wide world, in his hands..." You get the idea. The "take ten caller poll", which has rarely ever been unanimous -- was 100% in favor of Sarah Palin.
Jesse Petrilla of the United American Committee was present at the Convention:
The media here is very tricky, they are constantly asking us questions which they word in order to undermine our positions. Al-Jazeera came up to me and asked me for an interview last night on the convention floor. I laughed out loud and denied their request, politely telling them how I was not their biggest fan.
Atlas calls Palin Reagan with better hair. Not sure I would go that far, but Palin is the new star of the Republican party, that's for sure. And, as much as we might want Palin to be President, McCain is the one who will be sitting in the Oval Office, at least for the next four years... "No matter what happens in this race, we have seen the future of the party, and it looks bright indeed."
My Vast Right Wing Conspiracy says:
Yep, come on out Obama... Sarah Palin wants to play, and boy does she know how!!!

Vegas: This is amazing since the two favorite former presidents of the Left and Democrats are: Jimmy "Peanut" Carter and Bill "Bubba" Clinton. You might want to refresh your memory on their families.

Palin's a Trojan Horse. Open her up and all the Bush policies come out. She's Dick Cheney in a skirt. A racist good ol' boy. "Sambo beat the bitch." Her gonna be son n law that doesn't want kids is a self-described "redneck". They wet the shoeless baby's hair down with spit. These folks look like they need to pay a visit to the Jerry Springer show, no where near the White House. A shiny new red apple for America. Upon inspection that apple's rotten and has a worm in it. That worm is Sarah Palin.
I won't vote for her because we potty the same way.
Where is Stalin, I mean, Palin anyway? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IR6LX7CobEU

What in the world is this concern with "divisiveness"?
I do not get that complaint. We ARE divided. Furthermore, in an election, how can you not distinguish yourself from the opposition. Why does everyone value unity over honesty. I have nothing in common with Obama's camp and I see no area of compromise. Why pretend otherwise?
It is heartening to hear that there is recognition of the
"5th column stealth jihad". And Rudy, bless his heart, did name the enemy, drawing immediate wrath from CAIR. Good on him.
Great post Debbie. Love the humor, but Obama probably doesn't play very well with others.

"Maybe I'm the only one who thought this but I thought she came off angry and basically downright mean. Hillary came off softer then she did at the democratic convention."
You're exactly right. You are the only one that thought this......
IDIOT!

Debbie,
I cross posted your comments on my blog. I hope the few readers I have now will read your comments.
By the way, I think you have made it to the a-list of DNC enemies. The comment by that Ryan is definately a seminar blogger for the DNC.

Ryan,
Not for one second do I believe you are a Republican. No one would. After last night, your comments are almost laughable. No sane Republican would ever vote for Obama. Thanks for your work as a seminar blog commenter from the DNC.

Maybe I'm the only one who thought this but I thought she came off angry and basically downright mean. Hillary came off softer then she did at the democratic convention. I'm a republican but will be voting for Obama because the republicans haven't learned that being divisive will not help this country.

Debbie,
What a great synopsis of last night's events and the response by the left stream media and the democrat party attack chihuahuas. I almost died laughing when I saw the Fox News panelist from NPR calling Palin's speech a "100% home run in the first minute, but it was scripted." She said this twice then Britt Hume slammed back: "Every speech at each convention is scripted!" She looked like the typical leftist wonk who had to tuck her tail between her legs. It is amazing how transparent these lefties are.
Yes, the king has no clothes, yet no one seems to notice from the elite-erati.
Great job Debbie, keep up the great work!

Go Palin. I loved when she compared being a Mayor in a small town, to being a community oganizer. She said a mayor,"actually has a real responsibilty. Priceless. She hit it out of the ball park with this speech. As a Independant(former Demockrat) i will vote Mccain/Palin

Funny...Obama's suckling surrogates are saying that Saracuda's speech was all fluff and no substance...exactly what Obama's acceptance speech was. More of the socialist playbook in action (accuse the other person of doing what you did). That tingly feeling that Obama gives Chris Matthews just became a warm sphincter release down his leg...in panic.

I heard her speech rocked. Great roundup, Debbie! She's the name on everyone's lips...all over the world. All the left can do is splutter and try to fling dung. She's a dynamo right out of left field...or should I say right field! heh
