The Democrats want John McCain to get back to the issues, only because they don't want McCain talking about Barack Obama, his history, his life, his connections, his beliefs, and where this country will be after an Obama presidency. They would love for McCain to stay away from Rezko, Ayers, Wright, and (don't mention the Muslim fellow, that's forbidden). See the following articles on Obama:

McCain had better keep hammering away at Obama's connections, associations and shady past, he should have been doing that from long ago. Time waits for no one.

Might as well enjoy freedom of speech now; if Oblahblah gets his hands on it -- with Pillageosi and Rapeid in congressional control -- first to go will be national defense, as he cuts and runs from Iraq, and opens the door to his foreign contributors to establish the kind of chaos and a new base of operations for use against who but us? Next to go will be free speech, by way of reintroduction of the so-called "Fairness Doctrine", specifically targeted at conservative talk radio (and probably tailored later for blogs..wouldn't surprise me). After that -- especially with the Daily Kos/Moron.org/George Soros crowd -- they'll go after the Second Amendment, by way of a couple of judicial picks for the US Supreme Court.
And the American electorate will be stuck with what they have wrought on themselves. But Michael Moore, Hollywood and college educrats -- some of them former domestic terrorists -- will be pleased.
Unless, of course, the voters wise up NOW and send a definitive message on November 4.
