Polls Setting Us Up For Violence

Who will be at fault if violence erupts after the U.S. Presidential election on November 4, 2008?  There are many who have contributed to the divisions among American voters, but it may be the pollsters who are at the top of the list.  Many have allegedly skewed their poll results to make it look like Barack Obama has a huge lead over John McCain.  If voters believe these skewed polls and Obama loses -- it's going to get messy folks.

WPTV.com, West Palm Beach, Florida has a poll asking "Do you think election polls are accurate?"  The overwhelming response, 67% of voters, say NO, they are not accurate.

A brand new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll indicates Democrat Barack Obama now has a double-digit lead over Republican John McCain with just 13 days until the general election.

But a new Rasmussen/Fox poll shows McCain with the advantage over Obama in Florida and Ohio, two key battleground states where the Presidential race still appears to be too close to call.

The differences have some people wondering whether to trust polls or not. (take the poll)

Law enforcement around the U.S. are preparing for election day (and thereafter) violence.  The American Thinker says people are going to riot even if Obama wins.

Right. Can't you see all those Sarah Palin supporters streaming into the streets, overturning police cars and going crazy because the GOP lost?

Some worry that if Barack Obama loses and there is suspicion of foul play in the election, violence could ensue in cities with large black populations. Others based the need for enhanced patrols on past riots in urban areas (following professional sports events) and also on Internet rumors.  [snip]

This would seem to be the final piece of intimidation - the ultimate race card weapon deployed by the racialists and black bigots in order to scare people into voting for Obama. What's the difference between these people and al-Qaeda? Not much. They both would use violence to get their way.

Yes - but don't forget that it's the GOP who are the real haters in this race - angry mobs of hockey moms with hockey sticks who would roam the streets attacking Obama supporters..

There is a big difference in the two parties.  No one expects Republicans to go on a rampage if their candidate does not win.

Pro-Obama news sources love saying that John McCain is "lagging",  is trying for a "come from behind" victory.  All the better to keep you away from the voting booth and to keep you depressed.  Don't fall for it and don't fall for the polls.  GO VOTE !  It's your personal responsibility!

Secondly, Obama will clearly win. Visit FiveThirtyEight.com or Electoral-Vote.org to see it. All the polling data is laid out on the site for. These are not "skewed"- they are following empirical models. However, it is the odd McCain-within-2-points poll that is skewed (oversampling evangenical Christians by 100%, for instance). Oh, the truth hurts.

Voting for McCain or against Obama does not automatically make one racist. It does make one unintelligent, however.

I cannot help but believe there will be violence if it does not turn out the way the left wants. Look at the way they act now. Cars vandalized..homes spray painted that support McCain. Actually terrorizing marchers or those on corners with McCain signs?
