Re-evaluating America's Biggest Threat

When I began Right Truth blog, my goal was to share information on the terrorist threat to America.  Over the past seven years since the attacks on September 11, 2001, I have come to several conclusions about the threats to the US and also the enemies of America.

As Vincent Gioia says, "The people in any country are only able to protect themselves and assure their freedom if they are aware of what is going on that affects them.  ...  The unfortunate consequence of filtered and selected news reporting is that the public is not told all the facts and is generally deprived of information that would waken them to imminent threats to liberty."  That is where are are today.

With this in mind I call attention to what is the biggest threat to America that is largely unreported to Americans or merely glossed over or explained in a politically correct manner. That threat is ISLAM. Unless the Islamic threat to our liberty is made clear in no uncertain terms, the public will not insist on taking action to avert a disaster.  [snip]

I no longer believe the biggest threat we face is another attack similar to September 11, 2001.  There is no doubt that al-Qaeda and others are continuously plotting attacks on our transportation systems, our ports, major buildings and meeting places on US soil, but the real threat is much more subtle than that.  Robert Spencer calls it "Stealth Jihad" and has written a book by that name.  Mr. Spencer describes what he means in an interview by Jamie Glazov in Front Page Magazine:

FP: What inspired you to write Stealth Jihad? And define the term for our readers please.

Spencer: Primarily I was inspired to write this book by the continuing focus, on the part of government, law enforcement, and the mainstream media, on “terrorism” as the sole threat in reference to jihad. In the book, I offer evidence for the proposition that terror attacks involving bombings and shootings are not the sum total of terrorist aspirations, but are just one component of a larger initiative that is also advancing by means of non-violent initiatives. Those non-violent initiatives, which are often presented to the public as something quite different from what they actually are, are what I mean by “stealth jihad.” The goal of these initiatives is the imposition of Islamic law, Sharia, over the world – over their fellow Muslims and non-Muslims alike. It aims at nothing less than the transformation of American society and the imposition of Islamic law here, subjugating women and non-Muslims to the status of legal inferiors.

I think Mr. Spencer is correct when he says the imposition of Islamic law over the world  and the stealth jihad plan was enunciated by a top Muslim Brotherhood operative in this country, Mohamed Akram, who explained that the Brotherhood “must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and Allah’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.”

Colleges and universities are giving in to the stealth jihad.  Elementary school text books are being changed to pervert the young minds of Western children. Our own legal system is used against our best interests.   Muslim organizations inside the United States work to undermine our culture by pushing an aggressive, pro-Islam agenda .  Read their plans in their own words:

CAIR claims to be the nation's leading Muslim civil rights group. But the group's critics say it's focused more on making Islam a dominant force than with fighting bigotry.

In a 1998, CAIR founder Omar Ahmad told the San Ramon Valley Herald, "Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth."

Others point to a 1991 memo by the radical Muslim Brotherhood challenging American Islamic groups.

The memorandum, presented as evidence during a terrorism trial last year, reads that these Muslim groups "must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the western civilization from within and 'sabotaging' its miserable house by their hands" until Islam reigns supreme."  (CBN)

Herb Denenberg writes in The Bulletin, "A Churchill-Like Clarion Call For America, The World"

America, the greatest nation in the history of the world, has started a long and straight slide to death by political correctness, multiculturalism and cultural relativism. That’s coming about because of the inability of our leaders to recognize the advance of the stealth jihad.

So, America and the West wake up before you fall victim to a relentless, bloody and stealth jihad and become subject to Islamofascism. Europe is already virtually gone, as Mark Steyn concluded in his classic book, America Alone: The End of the World as We Know It. Is America next?  [snip]

In that speech, Churchill said, “The Communist parties or fifth columns constitute a growing challenge and peril to Christian civilization.” We might change to update that as follows: “A small but vocal segment of Islam in America constitutes a growing challenge and peril to Western civilization.”  (continue reading)

There are groups and individuals who are trying many different ways to educate the public.  Some work, some don't.

Jamie Glazov of Frontpage Magazine also interviewed Tom Trento, Director of the Florida Security Council, a state-based organization that assists the general public in properly preparing for and responding to the threat of Radical Islam, concerning Jesse Petrilla, founder of United American Committee (UAC) who had the idea for a simple, but effective billboard to be strategically placed close to a Muslim population center.

Trento: Billboards are excellent communication tools to direct controversy in a controlled manner, for educational purposes. The philosophical assumption behind that sign is that most American Muslims absolutely reject efforts to replace the US Constitution with the Qu'ran by Islamist clerics and pseudo- rights organizations like CAIR. We believe these American Muslims are intimidated by the Islamist thugs, who act more like two-bit gangsters then religious men, so our billboard is there to assist the good Muslims to stand against the bad Muslims.



Each word was carefully selected for maximum emotive power and accurate legal analysis. Once Americans wake up and realize that "Sharia," effectively means "religious," that is, the "law of the religion of Islam," the average joe-on-the-street usually responds by saying: "Are you %#@&*^ kidding me!?"   (continue reading)

Vincent Gioia concludes his article with this:

Representative Sue Myrick (R-N.C.) has made some specific proposals for dealing with the Islam threat; if only the news media would publicize these proposals and why they are made:

" Examine the non-profit status of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), in view of its objectives.

- Make it an act of sedition or solicitation of treason to preach or publish materials that call for the death of Americans.

- Cancel scholarship student visa programs with Saudi Arabia until they reform their textbooks. Saudi texts, sent for use in America, promote hatred of non-Muslims.

- Restrict religious visas for imams who come from countries that don't allow reciprocal visits by non-Muslim clergy.

- Cancel contracts to train Saudi police and security in U.S. counterterrorism tactics, and block the sale of sensitive military munitions to Saudi Arabia. That's because Saudi Arabia now finances the international jihad."

In case you need some more incentives to get involved, here is what the imposition of Sharia (Muslim) law would mean. This is according to one authoritative voice, a Sheikh that the BBC called "the highest spiritual authority for nearly a billion Sunni Muslims."

* "When a person has reached puberty and is sane voluntarily apostatizes [i.e. converts] from Islam, he deserves to be killed."

* "Circumcision is obligatory." There is some dispute among Muslim authorities on the need for female circumcision. Some say it is obligatory and some say it is just an accepted but not an obligatory practice.

* "The husband may forbid the wife to leave the home."

* "Musical instruments of all types are unlawful."

* "The caliph ... makes war upon Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians ... until they become Muslim or pay the non-Muslim poll tax."

If you want America to remain free of Islamic domination, get behind the Myrick proposals and see that your representatives and senators do as well; we can't rely on the press to do that. More importantly, become informed by reading books like those written by Robert Spencer, and keep up with information and blogs on the internet.

That is exactly what we try to do here at Right Truth, keep up with the information and share that information with readers.  We are all in this fight together.  The major problem is that too many Americans do not know what this fight is really about.

I've been avoiding blogging about current events and such during the Christmas season, so all I have to say to dhimmis and Muslims alike is, "Merry Christmas!"

The introduction of political correctness became the first step in the death of common sense here. The progressives have embraced the death of common sense as they spread their appeasement-oriented tentacles around political correctness, and make it their religion.

As for me, it's simple: whatever the future, I will never recognize, accept or bow to Sharia law or Islamofascism. Not gonna happen.

Spencer's latest book is grim. I knew most of the information therein already. But having all that information in a hard copy? Devastating.

You and Spencer hit the nail on the head. Bombs and demolished buildings are too risky and costly for the Jihadist movement. The westerner cannot ignore it when a whole bunch of his countrymen are slaughtered.

They've learned that it's far easier to slow-boil the western frogs, they seen how the progressive or leftist movement have done it over the years and much to their pleasant surprise, the useful idiots are happy to assist them. What more could be easier.

Unfortunately for us, when they invoke stealth mode, far more of us are asleep to it.
