The question of the day: "What happens after the TEA parties?" I think Americans are more inspired today, the first day after the TEA parties, than they were prior or during the TEA parties. Ann Coulter said, "I had no idea how important this week's nationwide anti-tax tea parties
were until hearing liberals denounce them with such ferocity." Amen to that. I don't think the liberals had any idea either.
The TEA parties were about taxes, government spending, pork, politicians not listening to the people who put them in office, Americans wanting to keep what they work for, make their own decisions for their lives. That stays the same even after the TEA parties. People are fired up and they are going to be more active in politics than ever.
The so called media journalists " ...showed in one brief day that there is no such thing as journalistic
standards and that they will do everything they can to belittle the
voice of concerned Americans if that voice runs counter to their
left-wing agenda. Pathetic." said Bobby Eberle.
Now, for the media. The coverage was pathetic... but not only that... it was how it was covered that really showed the complete bias and agenda-driven nature of today's "journalists." First, we have this clip from a CNN "reporter."
Anderson Cooper on CNN also carried on with a phrase that was echoed on MSNBC as well. Rather than referring to yesterday's events as tax day protests or tea party protests, these Cooper and others referred to the events as "teabagging" and the attendees as "teabaggers."
In this case, "teabagging" is a sexual reference, and I'll leave it to you to look it up. The main point here is that the media have thrown all credibility aside in the pursuit of their left-wing support for Obama and a socialist agenda. Just imagine if this had been an anti-war protest! (GOP USA)
From Ann Coulter:
The lie at the heart of liberals' mantra on taxes -- "tax increases
only for the rich" -- is the ineluctable fact that unless taxes are
raised across the board, the government won't get its money to fund
layers and layers of useless government bureaucrats, none of whom can
possibly be laid off. [snip]
How much would you have to raise taxes before any of Obama's constituents noticed? They don't pay taxes, they engage in "tax-reduction" strategies, they work for the government, or they're too rich to care. (Or they have off-shore tax shelters, like George Soros.)
California was, in fact, a laboratory of Democratic policies. The rabbit died, so now Obama is trying it on a national level.
That's what the tea parties are about. (Ann Coulter)
Numbers are not in yet as to an estimate of the total number of Americans who attended TEA parties yesterday, not sure if anyone is compiling such a number. Tax Day TEA parties was a huge success because in every city I have heard from the anticipated numbers were completely trounced. In Memphis only 500 were expected, in reality over 7,500 in one TEA party.

Heritage New Media Partners TV has video from TEA parties around the US. Amazing.

Right wing extremists gathered in Denver.
Knoxville Tennessee TEA party roundup.
Fortworth Texas TEA party a rousing success.
Michelle Malkin had a roundup of pictures
Cristy Li has some great pictures and links to TEA parties.
Obama continues to sacrifice American Sovereignty
Keep those TEA parties going in your home, at your work, in your neighborhood, with family, friends, and most important -- with local politics. Keep the TEA flowing!

Well said. Funny how 12 people protesting the war around the White House is a major movement, but this Tea Party thing....it's just a bunch of "teabaggers."
I actually heard a commentator on CNN last night say:"this all interesting, but it's not real." What? Does he think this is an animated movie? I guess it's only "real" when its Obamanomics.
Eventually, they'll get the message. We're not giving up this time.

I just want to know where all these people were durring the last 8 years of excessive spending? Is it just okay to spend money killing people in other countries but not okay to spend money on helping our own country?

Rob: Good question. Obviously some were out voting for Obama, Hillary, or not voting at all. Sometimes we have to learn the hard way and suffer before we see the light. Just human.
Demosthenes: The TEA parties are not over, I know of some that are happening today, maybe some this weekend.
As I said before, the numbers would probably be bigger except so many people were WORKING and could not get to the TEA parties.

Very good, and good comics too. We made our mark and the libs are freaked out by it. Time to drive the stake deeper.

Love the above cartoons particularly the one of Obama in the hour-glass. The foundations of his policies are built on sand and will not withstand the test of time. I think he is standing in quick-sand and its starting to show.

"The so called media journalists " ...showed in one brief day that there is no such thing as journalistic standards..."
Maybe they had some standards years ago, but not any more. Now most of them are just a gaggle of sniveling sycophants for hussein. It's amazing how many lips can be glued to obama's ass at the same time. The MSM journos seem to be breaking records at it every day.
