February 10, 2009, during a town hall meeting in Fort Myers, Florida, President Barack Obama promised Henrietta Hughes that "we will do whatever it takes to honor her request for a house, car and job for her and her adult son. But as Ms Placed Democrat says, "Obama didn’t do “whatever it takes”. His administration made a phone
call to a government agency….the Fort Meyers area housing authority."
Who did step up and provide a house to Ms. Hughes for as long as she needed it, was Florida Senator Nick Thompson and his wife Chene, who are REPUBLICANS. The house was Chene Thompson’s own former
residence when she worked for the State Attorney’s Office in LaBelle. The house was on the market for sale.
Ms. Hughes told Obama, "I have an urgent need -- unemployment and homelessness, a very small
vehicle for my family and I to live in," Hughes said at the time. "The
housing authority has two years' waiting lists, and we need something
more than the vehicle and the parks to go to. We need our own kitchen
and our own bathroom. Please help." Hughes didn't want Obama to contact the housing authority, she had done that on her own.
Now Ms. Hughes can't find a job and is worried about losing the house if someone purchases it. She has nothing to fear because Chene Thompson told CNN that she will do everything in her power to make sure
Hughes is not back out on the streets even if her house sells ... "I've told Miss Hughes ... she will never again be homeless, even if I
have to personally assist her with her rent," said Thompson, who is a
longtime advocate of the homeless."
Now that's the difference in a Democrat and a Republican. Obama was in for the quick photo op and evening soundbite on the news ... while the Thompsons stepped up to the challenge for the long haul and very little publicity in the MSM and no mention that they are Republicans.

Absolutely excellent, Deb.
we bothknow we won't see this on CNN or th eother Alphabet networks, don't we?

A lot (but not all) of Republicans say what they mean, mean what they say, and step up.
A lot (but not all) of Democrats are all fluff and rhetoric, with no substance behind either.
Barry is very, VERY a lot of Democrap.

She may have a need, but so does every American. She really believed that moron? IMHO she is dumber than he is if she believed him. Pffft!
