Who's your terrorist?

But, here are some troubling questions: Do we deal with Muslim terrorists, their child-martyr weapons, the civilians behind whom they hide, simply by defeating them all militarily–or are we also obliged to feed, house, and re-educate our sworn enemies—a reprise of the Marshall Plan but this time on every continent? Or, can we just defeat those who are threatening our way of life, (or holding an American ship captain hostage), and return home for another 100-500 years?  [snip]

What if the cost of re-educating every single brainwashed student in every madrassa in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and the West Bank, etc.; every single impoverished Somali pirate and warlord; every single terrorist, world-wide, means that America will inevitably sink below the horizon into horrible poverty and become a failed state?

Because that is what may happen—and more. Are we, too, ready to commit national, cultural and civilizational suicide because our children and grandchildren have been taught to feel incredibly guilty about how unfair life is, and how privileged they are (or recently thought they were), as compared to the agony and screaming poverty elsewhere?

Are we so sure that every brainwashed martyr-in-training, every barbarian, can be turned around, redeemed?

Dr. Chesler is on target as usual.  The whiney limp-wristed people in the West don't see these suicide bombers or pirates as the bad guys, they see their fellow countrymen as the reason these 'poor children' commit acts of terror, kidnapping, murder, theft. 

In the United States of America we have President Barack Hussein Obama forming his mandatory  National Civilian Security Force of 250,000 Americans, costing $6 billion dollars, including elementary and secondary age students.  Obama would "require" all middle school through college students to participate.  Obama said in his Colorado Springs speech,  "We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."

Obama's brown shirts.  Indoctrinating young children doesn't just happen in Islamic nations, it happens right here in the United States. 

The legislation also refers to "uniforms" that would be worn by the "volunteers" and the "need" for a "public service academy, a 4-year institution" to "focus on training" future "public sector leaders." The training, apparently, would occur at "campuses."

One writer said of the bill, "This is the equivalent of brown shirts," and who can disagree?  (Right Side News)

Obama's National Civilian Security Force is not the beginning of indoctrinating our children.  No, this started in some government run schools, which provided far left teachers with agendas.  Now those students have grown up and many are working for Obama.

Obama supporters in Alabama are campaigning throughout Birmingham for passage of Obama's $9.3 trillion dollar spending binge. The organizers are part of Organizing for America. A leader of this group is Chris DeHaven. He told his volunteers: "We're looking for supporters. We're not looking for a fight. That will come later, when we have an army."  [snip]

H.R. 1388's official title is: "Generations Invigorating Volunteerism And Education Act (GIVE Act).   [snip]

This army of 250,000 uniformed "volunteers" could be used to intimidate anyone opposed to Obama's socialist agenda.   (Right Side News, see the video of Obama)

Which brings us to  a newly unclassified Department of Homeland Security report which warns against the possibility of violence by unnamed "right-wing extremists" concerned about illegal immigration, increasing federal power, restrictions on firearms, abortion and the loss of U.S. sovereignty and singles out returning war veterans as particular threats.  (WND)  This report just happened to see daylight in time for the TEA parties being held in every state across this great nation.  I dare say that at least half of those attending the TEA parties fit the description of "right-wing extremists", since they are concerned with  illegal immigration, increasing federal power, restrictions on firearms, abortion and the loss of U.S. frequent, huge government spending, increased taxes...

“Right-wing extremists have capitalized on the election of the first African American president, and are focusing their efforts to recruit new members, mobilize existing supporters and broaden their scope and appeal through propaganda, but they have not yet turned to attack planning,” the assessment reads.  [snip]

“Proposed imposition of firearms restrictions and weapons bans likely would attract new members into the ranks of right-wing extremist groups … The high volume of purchases and stockpiling of weapons and ammunition by right-wing extremists in anticipation of restrictions and bans in some parts of the country continue to be a primary concern to law enforcement,” the report says.  (Fox)

Sounds like a job for Obama's National Civilian Security Force.  Too bad they haven't been drafted and organized yet.  A DHS spokesman refused to say whether law enforcement would video TEA party participants, but I suspect they will want to get images of all those right-wing radicals for future use.

A footnote attached to the report by the Homeland Security Office of Intelligence and Analysis defines "rightwing extremism in the United States" as including not just racist or hate groups, but also groups that reject federal authority in favor of state or local authority.  (Washington Times)

I’m inclined to agree with this post at Power Line, which views the report as a peculiar document on its own terms because its accusations are vague and unsupported, its sources one-sided, and its stated facts (such as those regarding the correlation in the past between the mid-1990s economy and an upsurge in domestic terrorism) are just plain wrong.  This is a political document, not a security assessment, and it’s therefore probably reasonable for conservatives to take umbrage (not to get hysterical, just to take umbrage) at its broad brush denigration of conservative beliefs, including the basic conservative tenet of a desire for a smaller federal government.

Smile for the cameras all you radicals, the grown-up indoctrinated children in the Obama administration want to know who you are.

Deb, I too, blogged on the DHS document too, but I plan on contacting DHS, citing FOIA and that I want a copy of the "minimized person" version. I will also lambast them separately, asking why right wingers are being singled out.

I am seriously losing confidence in government because I now think they're going to target all of us.

Why not, give them two options, stop hating us or die trying and remain in the craphole you were born in.

The problem with the western world is that we are divided, many of us have the brains to know that you don't support terrorists, you don't bargain with them and if the are amongst you, you deport them and get rid of them.

But enough of us feel that we ought to bend this way and that to appease our way out of this.

Make no mistake, we can defeat the jihadists and barbarians, but it will be all useless if we do not also defeat the leftists amongst us. They are also at war with the western world.
