Witch Hunts (and you are the witch)

Make fun of Canada Free Press, Judy McLeod, and the Northeast Intelligence Network all you want to -- even a blind hog can find a nut now and then.  The FBI spied on TEA party participants.  The Obama government refused to answer a question "will you be video taping the TEA parties?", but now we know the truth -- they did spy on TEA party participants.  So what?  These are upstanding American citizens who are fed up with big  government, bailouts, and pork spending.  Count me in that crowd.  But now the Obama government has us on their 'list'.

The FBI spied on TEA party Americans.

Even as average Americans were planning to get out in towns and cities to demonstrate against Big Government and Big Taxes, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) surveillance was being unleashed upon them.  In fact, unsuspecting Tax Day TEA Party participants were being closely watched during the demonstration planning stages in a covert operation that began on or about March 23, 2009.

If you one of the estimated 750,000 Americans who attended one of about 600 TEA parties last week, you might have seen media cameras covering the event. Media cameras, however, were not the only cameras taking video at these events, something that has at least one current FBI agent concerned over the future of America. According to this agent – the same agent who provided the Northeast Intelligence Network (NEIN) exclusively the unreleased photographs of the 11 missing Egyptian students who were the subject of a FBI BOLO in August 2006--placed his concerns for true patriots of the U.S. over his own career when he confided that covert surveillance was “planned and performed” at each of the TEA parties that took place last Tuesday.  (continue at Canada Free Press)

DHS Memo a Witch Hunt of Historic Proportions

The sinister Department of Homeland Security memo issued to law enforcement entitled, “Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment” last week drew the ire of millions of Americans. And now, it is raising serious new questions as to the scope and extent of investigative discretion possessed by the Department’s Office of Intelligence and Analysis.

The American people clearly have a right to know why the Department of Homeland Security is drafting political documents, by what process these documents were drafted, who was responsible for writing them, who authorized them—and who is going to bear responsibility for such an outrage. To that end, Americans for Limited Government has filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request with the Department demanding full disclosure.  [snip}

The Obama DHS report is nothing short of a witch hunt. It must be openly and thoroughly rejected by the President. And all those responsible for initiating must be removed and forever barred from public service. Anything less could leave the door open to an enduring tragedy of historic proportions.

Federal Lawsuit Filed Over DHS ‘Rightwing Extremist’ Report

The Thomas More Law Center, a national public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, announced last week that it filed a federal lawsuit against Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano. The lawsuit claims that her Department’s “Rightwing Extremism Policy, ” as reflected in the recently publicized Intelligence Assessment, “Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment, ” violates the civil liberties of combat veterans as well as American citizens by targeting them for disfavored treatment on account of their political beliefs. The Law Center is asking the court to declare that the DHS policy violates the First and Fifth Amendments, to permanently enjoin the Policy and its application to the plaintiffs’ speech and other activities, and to award the plaintiffs their reasonable attorney’s fees and costs for having to bring the lawsuit.

Did Adolf Hitler murder 6 million Jews because he had a strained relationship with his father? Would it matter if he did? Yes, Harris and Klebold killed nowhere near as many people as the Fuhrer, but it was not for lack of ambition. While we are conditioned to think of evil as something that comes wearing a Snidely Whiplash moustache or speaking in a Darth Vader voice, it is more often a banal thing hiding in plain sight just like this, hiding in the incremental moral compromises, failed humanity and grandiose self-image of ordinary men. I say then hold more tea parties, let more and more people attend, show their faces boldly, the tea parties are not about inciting terrorism or national security. They are peaceful and the people are not the rightwing radicals of lefties fantasies, let them come, film, wiretap and all that. I'd like to see if the FBI, CIA and DHS have enough man power to cover all and sundry and waste their time.

The people are trying to get a message through to hussein, maybe the FBI can relay the messages via their spies, as we know the media sure aren't keen on it.

People need not fear their participation in the Tea Parties...they were held with no violence and sent a strng message to Washington that We The People are alive and well in our great nation. Believe me when I say - they fear your protests more than you should fear attending them. The CNN reporter that verbally attacked the man with the baby exposed CNN the news you can trust as frauds. Great job America!!! and FYI - the FBI is not stupid either - they know what you all are doing is protecting our great nation's liberties and U.S. Constitution - not harming it...and you can bet your pocket-book that Obama's administration will think twice before causing you harm or Treading on You! You are the people who pay the taxes they are spending so freely....Tilden had "I Trust the People" engraved on his tombstone...He was just as famous if not more so than any of the current crop of politicos today... He was the Great Reformer that took down corrupt politicians... re: Boss Tweed, Tammany Hall and the Canal Ring...So be of good cheer as he would say...protest the corruption...just keep it peaceful.

There are more TEA parties continuing until July 4th when there will be a nationwide TEA party.
