You can find lists of potential presidential candidates for 2012 all over the web, here, here, here, Most of them are re-runs and I don't want a re-run. Here are my suggestions as possible candidates for President in 2012:
1. U.S. Army Lieutenant Ralph Peters.
2. Liz Cheney
3. Bobby Jindal
4. Sarah Palin
5. John Bolton
What about you. Who would you love to see as President of the United States of America? Put on your thinking caps!!!

Bolton & Kyl
And we will win.
They very idea that the GOP fielded Juan McCain is proof that we've been set up.

I'd love it if Bolton ran, I think he could win. I really like Ralph Peters, he always says the right things when I hear him or read his articles.

Debbie,
How 'bout YOU running for President? ;oD You understand more about what's happening in the world than our current specimen.
Plus, any libs trash you and I'd nuke 'em back to the Stone Age. ;o)

Tim Pawlenty (governor of MN) isn't a rock star - just a solid, hard-working good human being. I will never forget the extraordinary effort he made coming back from a disastrous flood zone to attend, and speak extemporaneously, at a dear friend's funeral. In his shirtsleeves and muddy boots. No planes were flying and he hauled a$$ through dangerous conditions on the roads to get there. That's a man who knows the definition of service.

ME? Now that's a scary thought. ha

I don't think any of them has a chance, unfortunately. They are already typecast and would be hard to revive unless the country is in complete shambles.
McKinnon was mentioning Haley Barbour the other day. I've been impressed with him for a long time, but he may be too 'southern'. Still, I think he'd calmly wipe the floor with Obama's posterior in a debate.

You are again forgetting that out of all those above mentioned proposals Sarah Palin has the greatest executive experience. What is most important she has one exceptionally big achievement in her prtfolio; the Alaskan pipeline, over which consecutive Republicans and "Democratic" Alaskan administrations have been squabbling for over thirty years. That pipeline gives the US an enormous shot towards energy security and is a proof of Sarah's ability to think and act strategically. That in no way diminishes quailities of the people like Bolton (the most experienced and most knowledged), Jindal, Pawlenty, Michelle Bahman. There is also a fantastic and formidable Lt. Conolel Alen West from Florida (a true replacement for discredited Collin Powell), Gen Petraeus and many other extremely well quallified men and women that could be drawn from the ranks of military - probably the most honest, brave and quallified sector of the US. Ralf Peters is also one of my favourite collumnists. However, I have lost some sympathy for him for his attacs on Donald Rumsfeld and Rumsfeld's strategy in Iraq. I believe that Rumsfeld' overal strategy was right and Peters' criticism mistaken. I believe also that Dick Cheney has one of the most powerful minds, but his endorsment of a homosexual "marriage" disqualifieds his for holding the position of the US President. But the most important thin is to GET RID OF OBAMA!!!

I am a huge Bolton fan and what a pair it would be with Peters on the ticket with him.
I really like Liz Cheney but I'm not sure where she fits in at this early stage.
I really like Sarah Palin but I don't she has a chance. I'd like to see her as Energy Secretary (not Czar).
I think the piranhas would eat Jindahl for breakfast.

I would love for Sarah Palin to run and get elected. I don't see how she can though. The Left is afraid of her, they are attacking her from all angles. The Vanity Fair article today is just horrid, accusing her of post partum depression. Did she look depressed to anyone??? NO.
Perhaps all these attacks will will backfire on the Left and make Palin look even more inviting.

Sarah Palin and John Bolton, i'd definitely go for either.

Yeah, I kinda like John Bolton. He's a grouch that doesn't mind speaking his mind, kinda like me.
