Dissent isn't hate!

Jon Voight gave the best speech I've heard lately, it put the Republican politicians to shame.  Now he is being accused of hate speech, threatening the President Barack Obama, and home-grown terrorism.  The accusations come from the likes of the Communist Party, People’s Weekly World, a magazine once known as the “Daily Worker” and sympathetic to the Communist Party,  Paul Krugman, and Frank Rich  Among other things, Voight called Obama a “false prophet” and “we and we alone are the right frame of mind to free this nation from this Obama oppression.” 

Mr. Voight's words brought criticisms from the New York Times, activists and bloggers. But they particularly troubled Teresa Albano, editor of the People's Weekly World -- a Chicago-based publication sympathetic to the Communist Party.

"I don't want to equate what Jon Voight said as expressing a conservative opinion on politics. It went way beyond that. He made a threat against the president of the United States to a crowd at a GOP fundraiser and got a good response from the Senate minority leader and other powerful people. And that is scary," Ms. Albano, editor of the publication, said at the time.

An editorial also said his speech was a form of "home-grown terrorism."

Not to worry though, Jon Voight isn't skulking away, he denied both charges, saying that those who speak out against the Obama administration are "demonized" and "attacked," often with hate speech.  In my book, John Voight is a breath of fresh air and I look forward to hearing him speak again soon.

I suppose Rich has forgotten about all the Liberals in Hollywood who miss no opportunity to bash George W. Bush.

My friends, have no doubt that the iron fist you now see murdering dissenters in Iran will arise and flourish in the USA. Freedom of speech will no longer exist. Dissent shall become a felony, punishable by imprisonment or death. Possessing weapons of self defense shall become an immediate felony with the same penalties. Houses of Christian worship shall be burned to the ground. All those who are not Islamic shall either submit to conversion or be slaughtered. Do not for a moment believe that we have until the next election to reverse the forces that condemn the USA to annihilation.

I like it...let them slam people like Voight because he's HIGH PROFILE and will slam back. He's doing some very neat stuff in LA, and he'll be telling people about it in the pretty near future.
I got to meet and talk with him in that endeavor and he is SINCERE, Kind and dedicated to the conservative cause. Blew my mind. VERY cool!

I hope the left just keeps pushing and pushing..heck, Helen Thomas blasted that awful Robt Gibbs for a White House that's never treated the press corps so badly. It'll take DEMS to wake up to Obama (my VERY lib doctor has already, amazing) and DO SOMETHING ABOUT WHAT"S HAPPENING!

Every time, every damn time someone of note on the right points out the short comings, the flaws, the absolutely fallacious actions of the out-of-control socialist agenda of the Obama administration they are branded as racist and threating. Racist is a stupid accusation. But we on the right are dangerous, dangerous to those who would corrupt our government, dangerous to those who promote a foreign idealogy, dangerous to those who would steal our childrens future and give it to undeserving special interest. Yes, those on the left do have this right, and they should be concerned.
