It's a Saturday Night Special... on Friday

You lucky ducks, you're getting a Saturday Night Special post here at Right Truth a day early.  The phrase Saturday night special is pejorative slang used in the United States and Canada for any inexpensive handgun.  Considering self-defense is more important than ever, and also considering that the Obama administration would love to take away our legal guns, I think it's appropriate to this post.  Saturday Night Special is also a song by the group Lynard Skynyrd (see video below).  Now it is also the name of a post where you get the news you may have missed during the week and it's the name of the drink of the day-- The Saturday Night Special.

Today 97 House Republicans joined Rep. Hastings in sending this letter to Department of the Interior Secretary Ken Salazar, encouraging him to stop delaying offshore drilling and finally move forward with an “all of the above” energy plan that includes renewable energy and American-made oil and natural gas.  With 14.7 million Americans out of work, it is more important than ever that we take steps to create jobs in some states that are struggling the most.  In fact, 7 of the states that border the OCS have double digit unemployment:

Israel wipped off the face of the ....website?

Drink of the night is a Right Truth Saturday Night Special:

Right Truth Saturday Night Special

2 ounces Kahlua
2 ounces Baileys Irish Cream
2 ounces Cream de Cacao
2% milk

Add Kahlua, Baileys Irish Cream and Cream de Cacao to a glass filled with ice, finish filling glass with 2% milk (or heavy cream, or regular milk, or skim milk.)

Stir gently.  Enjoy. 

Just think, you are getting your calcium and protein while enjoying a refreshing chocolate coffee drink.

It does not have very much alcohol either, just enough to keep your arteries pumping at a healthy pace (in spite of Barack Obama) and your cardiologist happy.

That sweet looking drink is mighty tempting. i never thought about mixing them together.
