I'm sorry, I try to refrain from name calling, but every time Sen. Lindsey Graham opens his mouth he proves my statement -- he's an idiot. Yes, he's a Republican RINO, but even RINOs don't have to sound stupid. He reminds me of Gomer Pyle, "Golly! Shazam! Surprise, Surprise, Surprise! Don't tell me, don't tell me, I know what it is....!" Even Gomer Pyle had solid opinions, he took stands, he believed in something...
Graham says: "You've said some things that have bugged the hell out of me," "Your speeches are disturbing, particularly to conservatives. ... Those
speeches to me suggested gender and racial affiliations in a way that a
lot of us wonder, will you take that line of thinking to the Supreme
Court in these cases of first precedent."
Then he turns around and says, "...to be honest with you, your record as a judge has not been radical by any means. ... You have, I think, consistently, as an advocate, took a point of view that was left of center. You have, as a judge, been generally in the mainstream." (read more)
Lindsey ("Unless you have a complete meltdown, you're going to get confirmed,") Graham, get off the fence, quit trying to please everybody, quit tossing out statements that you think will get you some face time on the evening news. You are a disgrace to Republicans, a disgrace of monumental proportions to those of us who are Conservatives, you are a disgrace to the South, ... you are even a disgrace to RINOs!
I respect Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid more than I do Lindsey Graham -- at least they say what they mean.

We need to rebuild the Republician Party and we should start by getting rid of Graham - what a worthless pathetic excuse for a man. He has a lot in common with Sotomayor - they are both as thick as two short planks. No wonder she likes using simple words - she is simple and a bigot to boot!

I hope my Congressman Ed Royce holds a townhall meeting in August. Got to set Senator Graham on track!

What a great post!
I also don't usually resort to name calling, but Graham's performance over the last few days compelled me to google for "Lindsay Graham is an idiot..." and it seems that I am not the only one who feels that way!

"Graham, get off the fence...."
Sounds like the idiot is well and truly off the fence and prancing around like a big fairy to the left of it.

I have mixed feelings about Lindsey. In many respects he is a good conservative, but in other ways such as immigration and torture he is totally wrong as I see it. I don't think the man is a fence-sitter, just wrong on many issues.

I have to disagree with your closing statement. Perhaps Bela Pelosi and Zombie Harry speak their minds behind closed doors with their 'friends', but in public, they lie like cheap rugs.
Lindsay Graham is just a spineless RINO that has undermined the Republican Party. He'd rather play for points with a media that laughs at his efforts to suck up, and is too stupid to get it.

The problem with politics is too many politicians and not enough Public Servants!

Getting the picture of why I say all politicians suck? Can it be because they all do? Some create vacuums that can be confused with Black Holes, others have so little suction they only function as air filters, but they all do suck. THIS IS WHY I have no political affiliations or preferences.
You can't trust any of them. Scratch a liar, find a thief. There's not one of them I'd invite into my home any more than I'd take in street bums.
Siding with any political party is dangerous. You will always eventually be a loser, and often, repeatedly. I'd rather bet on horses, it's just as stupid but at least I know where my money is going and there's a chance I might get a little of it back from time to time.
You're right about my not wanting to throw away a good blog, but my days of trying to warn people and wake them up are over. Now I just express personal feelings and you know what? It's much more satisfying whether anyone reads it or not.
Now, that's true blogging independence.

He's a WIMP

An intelligent conversation regarding Sen. Lindsey Graham:
Andy Taylor: All right, what's goin' on here?
Barney Fife: Aw this boob here...
Gomer Pyle: Boob? Why that's an insult in the face of the public!

Can any politician make up their minds..They have all studied and mastered the art of riding the fence post without impaling their uh..you know..Most of the time..I do so enjoy it when one of them slips..

I believe I said just that in my last post about him.
No, I said he was "worthless and weak".
