US President Barack Obama was just on television again, and with every false statement he made I was reminded of the Ten Commandments, specifically "You shall not give false testimony ..." Like every other initiative Obama has tried to push down the throats of American taxpayers, health care is no different. Obama says, "It must be done now, we can't wait, waiting will be disastrous, a health care program will be deficit neutral, you can keep your own doctor, keep your own insurance, get better service for less money ...." Lies, all lies. Come to think of it, there are not many of the commandments that Obama hasn't broken.
Obama demanded a bill on his desk that he could sign by August. A bill, any bill, doesn't matter what it says, how horrible it will be for Americans, just get him a bill so he can brag that no one before him could get a health care bill signed -- but he could. Rush Rush Rush. What's driving the American people who are for Obama's program??? They want FREE health care. Their thinking goes no further than "everybody should have good, free health care available to them, it's their right." Wrong. I hear this argument all the time. First nothing is free, somebody has to pay for it.
Don't bother to read bills presented to congress, just vote for them and move along. Wiki Wiki Wiki (quick, quick, quick in Hawaiian) Obama says the system is broke... Now he is changing his rhetoric from the 'health care system is broke' to 'insurance is broke'.
There is hope, some light at the end of this short tunnel, some Democrats are having second thoughts. Thank God.

You want in some instances, over 60% of our hard earned income in the form of taxes. You covet the fruits of our labors so you can use that money as you see fit. I'm a big fan of The Ten Commandments in our Holy Bible as given to Moses by God; I'm a fan of freedom, a fan of our Constitution, and a follower of God. I know that he is honorable and just as well as forgiving. The Bible tells us that "vengeance is mine says the Lord." I believe that too.
Contact your politicians. Tell them to vote not just NO, but HELL NO, on Obama's health care destruction.
I'm also a big fan of the Cecil B. DeMille classic movie The Ten Commandments, starring Charlton Heston, Yul Brynner, Anne Baxter.
you believe in the constitution huh? What about the seperation of church and state? What does Obama going to church on Sunday have to do with anything? Stop being a greedy pushy Christian and start caring about someone other than the wealthy. Its easy to make money when you have money- and oh yeah - health coverage to keep you well!!

I don't understand what you mean... It says.. "You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor." "...false testimony against your neighbor." It never said anything about lying with a good cause, or joke. You're leaving out important parts the same way I might say..."Honor your father" and interpret the meaning as simply, honor your father, forget your mother.

I hope you americans succeed in repelling this health care take over. If you don't it'll be the beginning of the end.
It won't happen next week or even next year, but it'll happen and you won't be able to reverse it. It took britain around 20-30 years to slide on down the toilet, it'll be about the same for you.

What are you people thinking? Don't you know, can't you see this must be done quickly and without further debate. The country cannot no longer afford run-a-way medical cost---it killing the economy. Get real---the sky if falling and we need to prop it up. Obama has just about worn out the scare tactics, people are getting wise to him. I'm sick of his sales pitch. Its like the old used car salesman---if you don't buy today the deal will not be here tomorrow. Great post Debbie. Good advice on the imported articles also. I wasn't aware of all those restrictions.

All the lies Barry's telling fit his political philosophy to a tee: "the ends justify the means".
The ends: a wide-reaching control over American health care by the government. The kind of control Barry wants from his Chicago politics days where control is all, regardless of the consequences.
Americans who think they'll be getting "free health care" in Barry's plot, are ignorant fools.
Small wonder even Dems are casting a dim view of the Barry-Bela Pelosi power grab.
