Cap and trade could cost 52,000 Tennessee jobs
This month, the Tennessee Center for Policy Research published a policy report detailing the impact that cap and trade legislation could have on Tennessee's economy. Already passed in the U.S. House, the proposal could be brought up for a vote in the Senate after the upcoming election. Click here to read the report, titled Cap & Trade: A Lame (Duck) Proposal. TCPR hosts Wall Street Journal's John Fund
The Tennessee Center for Policy Research recently hosted an event featuring John Fund, Wall Street Journal columnist and Fox News contributor. Fund spoke to more than 70 TCPR supporters about "How Obama Made the Same Mistakes as Clinton and Carter (But Worse)." At the event, TCPR also announced that Nashville business leader Lee Beaman will be joining the organization's Board of Directors. Pictures of the event will soon be available on our Facebook page.
