This confirms what I wrote here about the threat of Islamic terror and how the Liberals enable it. Alan Colmes says the threat from the Muslim Brotherhood is a 'myth'. Colmes has always been a left-wing crazy, but since he flew out on his own away from Sean Hannity (who seldom let Colmes get a word in edgewise), he has shown his true colors. From William Teach:
Well, it’s just so obvious. How could a group with its roots in spreading hardcore Islamism possibly be big meanies and a danger? Threat Of Muslim Brotherhood Running Egypt As An Anti-American Muslim State Is A Myth
Mohamed ElBaradei, a leading voice of Egypt’s opposition, told Fareed Zakaria on CNN that the American conservative fear put forth by people like John Bolton and Thaddeus McCotter that the Muslim Brotherhood will step in and take over Egypt if Hosni Mubarak falls is a myth without “one iota of reality.”
Excitable Alan cites a single interview with ElBaradei, who says that the threat is a myth perpetuated by the Mubarak regime.
The above is just the tip of the story. Continue reading to find out the little word conspiracy between Colmes and Think Progress. Nasty business being a Liberal.
For the truth about the Muslim Brotherhood one only needs to see this headline: "Muslim Brotherhood Leader Calls For Egyptian Army to Prepare For War With Israel…, from Weasel Zippers".
This headline also confirms my belief about Liberals (Socialists, Marxists, Humanists, ...): "Soros-Funded Media Matters Blames the Jews for Revolt in Egypt…, from Weasel Zippers ".
Only 7% of Americans Think the U.S. Should Help Mubarak Stay in Power, what we may end up with in his place is not looking good.
UPDATE:
See "Muslim Brotherhood declares jihad on America; America declares Muslim Brotherhood Moderate" from Barry Rubin
More idiocy: White House declares "we are not taking sides" (no just voting "present" again)

The people who claim that the Muslim Brotherhood is not violent are also the same ones that claim that neither Hamas or Hezbollah are violent, but the three represent the Tripartite of Evil within the Middle East.
Al-Qaeda has always been an organizer, Hamas an instigator, and Hezbollah the special operations force of Islamic jihadism. The Muslim Brotherhood is simply the progenitor of the crowd and its role remains all of the foregoing.
We cannot separate them because radical Islam binds them despite "wishful thinking" on the part of Leftist pundits.
Our fault, to be fair, is that as a society we've removed God from within our lives...

I heard Shep Smith on Fox talking about them, pffft. "they have their own parliment, they are organized, they have ...., there are only ___ members of the Muslim Brotherhood around the world ..." Another idiot.
Just like Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon, no good will come from the Muslim Brotherhood no matter how much lipstick some want to put on them.

Many experts claim that the Muslim Brotherhood adopted "non-violence" after President Sadat released many of their members from prison.
I see a few problems with this:
(1) Are they only "non-violent" when they get their way?
(2) Why were their members in prison to begin with?
(3) President Anwar Sadat was assassinated.
I'm like Reagan -- "trust, but verify". Only in my case, it remains "peace, but kick ass beforehand." ;o)

YES, YES, YES... I love the title of this article. It describes liberals on this point perfectly. They are willingly and blindly allowing the culture to take shape such that when the time is right, our freedoms and rights will become extinct. They are so blind they can't even see their own demise as well.

New Attitude,
Inasmuch as "peace" in Islam represents the time after Islam has conquered the world, the Progressives cannot be happy until Bureaucracy has conquered individualism.
Therefore, the liberal Progressives do not fear losing their freedoms as you state because they see "Freedom" as THE enemy. They simply do not want individualism which is why, again as you state, they appear to be "blindly" following their leaders. They are NOT blind; they are enthusiastic about their future. They just seem idiotic because we, independent thinkers and freedom lovers, cannot understand how some people will willingly follow Evil (the oldest story in humanity).
