My eyesight must be going. When I saw the post title in my blogroll, I thought you were posting about the Cubs. Huh. I didn't know you were a Chicago baseball fan. ;-)

Debbie

I can see how you eyes might see "cubs" rather than "cuba". Me personally, I'm not a sports fan, ha, will watch the Tennessee Vols and Titans occasionally. (unfortunately they suck)

New Attitude.

With all of the failed examples of communism and socialism we have from history, it seems strange to me that we are marching steadily toward socialism in this country.

I would like to see a return to Federalism myself.

R.J. Godlewski

It's not Castro's Geritol communism that harms the world, but Obama's version: Ex-Lax socialism.

Your eloquence "moves me"

It is strange that with all the failed examples of socialism and communism that America keeps movong towards it. However, liberals are always drawn toward these folks. In the early 1960s, they sold "Fidel" halloween costumes for the kids here in America. Libs viewed Fidel as a major hero. Che still makes it on the liberal t-shirts. I see them often here at the university along with Karl Marx t-shirts if you can believe that.

Paul,

Do you remember that Sanford & Son episode where Fred dressed up as Castro to free his people? Perhaps a bit of sattire, but it still goes to show that in the 1970s people hadn't come to terms with Castro's evil nature.

I missed that episode
Sanford & Son. Elizabeth! I coming to meet you in Cuba! Strangers in the Night, exchanging communism!
