Mother's Day is here once again, a time when we thank our mothers if we still have them or remember them if they have left this earth. Hubby and I went for a ride on the motorcycle, out to dinner, and then a nice ride through the countryside and back roads. The smell of honeysuckle was everywhere. If you have never smelled honeysuckle, you are missing out on one of God's little creations that we have for a short time each Spring in the Northern Hemisphere.
The fragrance of honeysuckle reminds me of my childhood, good memories of a loving mother who was soft-spoken, kind, gentle, never harmed anyone or anything in her life. She reminds me of goodness. My mother was a wonderful woman and I miss her so much. Take the time to do something nice for your mother while you can.
I'm sitting here looking at all my beautiful cards from my daughter, grandson, hubby and Penelope the Beagle. They are so sweet.
