I Am Disgusted

Harry Reid just told the media that he hopes to have a vote on the latest bill later today.  I find that interesting since there is no written bill, and if there were, no one has had a chance to read or study it.  The entire process is obscene.  Again the American people get screwed.   I am thoroughly disgusted with what has been going on in Washington over the past weeks, months, and years.  This debt ceiling debate and proposed bills are nothing more than smoke and mirrors.  The American people are not stupid and they see through this pathetic back-and-forth theater from Congress and the President, yet they are expected to simply bend over and take whatever Congress dishes out.

The spin has already started with some in the media trying to make this look like a big win for Republicans because there are so many spending cuts.  What a crock of manure.  Spending cuts promised over 10 years are like reaching out and grabbing a handful of air.  Never happen.
