JON A UNDERWOOD

Here is my question though....

What part of the "West Bank" are they going to take? All of the "West Bank"?

Since it was occupied by Israel in 1967, it was previously under the control of.... Jordan?

So the International community will be taking the land to form a palestinian state from the lands that were the possession of Jordan, Right? Not actually taking land from the internationally recognized borders of Israel in anyway.

Would this also apply to the Gaza Strip? Previously the property of Egypt?

So basically, if the Internationally community decides to force the issue, the new Country of Palestine will be created from "Prior Arab Lands", not from Israel proper. Right?

How can the two parts of this possible country of Palestine exist without some highway or underground roadway connecting the two parts? What a security risk that would be for the State of Israel!

How will Hamas and Fatah, or the PA get along? How long will it be before Hamas goes for separation from Palestine to create their own terror state? I say "Not Long"!

Actually, this could work out for Israel in that if there is a Palestinian state, then they will have to deal with their "refugee's" that were supposedly "forced" to leave what is now Israel! Israel will not have to deal with that issue anymore. If you want to live in the country of Palestine, then you will have to deal with the land called Palestine.

I bet you that Yasir Arafat is kicking himself in the Butt right now for not taking the offer of the then PM of Israel, Ehud Barak when he offered over 90% of the land the palestinians demanded for the new Country of Palestine.

Lesson learned:

Having some land is better than no land. Having a country is better than no country. Being called the "Father of your Country" is far better than being a person that died a broken Man, having wasted his life.

What a bloody headache all this is going to be!

Jon
