We will be putting 2011 to bed tonight and welcoming in 2012. The Grouch's band plays tonight, woo hoo! It has been a busy year and a busy couple of weeks. I'm looking forward to a bright, shiny new year, but I am also thankful for all the blessings of the past year.
I wish everyone the very best New Year possible.

Happy New Year, Debbie. And the Grouch, too. :-)

Have a great time Debbie, and jam on, Mr Grouch. I'll be partying at home with the perpetual home-body, Mrs AC, but there's something to be said for that ...

You, The Grouch and Penny have a very Yappy New Year!
May our New Year's Wish of an Obama defeat be realized.

Thank you everyone. We would probably celebrate the New Year's Eve at home, but hubby has so much fun playing the bass and singing with the band, we wouldn't miss that for anything. Today we sped at home.
Best of everything to all of you for this new year. It is going to be a bumpy ride I'm afraid.

Strange human propensity: We keep looking forward to a new year as that calendar turns over.
Whatever.
Happy New Year!

Snake Hunter Sez,
Times Square, N.Y. City
One million adult citizens in paper hats and horns gather together to watch a big glass ball drop at midnight...so idiots can hug & kiss each other with wild abandon...
Ain't we got fun!
While multitudes of sober-faced security cops watch for pick-pockets, drunks and young trouble-makers are busy working the over-crowed streets..just for the hell-of-it!
And guess who pays for this mob-insanity, plus the clean-up crews every year?
The stay-at-home taxpayer.
HUMBUG!!!
