Black Sheep

Huh. I thought all those blogger popularity sites had died out. Personally, my feeling was "good riddance". Instead of giving ourselves recognition and pats on the back, like the Hollywooders do with all their award ceremonies and all the political crap and corruption that ALWAYS seeps into these things, the cronyism and butt kissing, how about if we look to our readership and the number of comments we get on our articles to tell us how popular we are or aren't? Hmmm?

Everyone wants recognition but if we as bloggers aren't getting it from the Internet public, then giving it to ourselves anyway couldn't possibly be more phony.

Like me. My readership is tiny. At one time I got a lot of daily hits but the crest of the blogging wave has long passed and most of the old blogs are long gone. I keep doing it because it gives me something to do and people to talk to once in awhile. That's good enough without trying to become a bluenosed blogging socialite. But whatever turns you on.......
