Calling for American blood seems to be the cry of the day, even here at home. In Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai calls American troops “Demons” and sounds like he wants revenge. The Taliban in Pakistan, yes Pakistan, said it seeks to overthrow the Pakistani government, impose sharia, seize the country’s nuclear weapons, and wage jihad until “the Caliphate is established across the world.” In St. Louis Occupy Wallstreet thugs call for the blood of the rich.
Someone vandalized statues, buildings and walls with spray paint in Compton Hill Reservoir Park in St. Louis as seen Tuesday, March 20, 2012. The vandalism appears linked to Occupy protesters who are angry about their confrontation with police last week (St. Louis Dispatch) (more images here)
OSW goes on Kremlin TV and promises to become "more radical". Well, isn't that just precious, and a perfect example of what the movement stands for -- compared to the non-violent TEA Party.
In Afghanistan:
(NY Times) — The Americans in Afghanistan are “demons.”
They claim they burned Korans by mistake, but really those were “Satanic acts that will never be forgiven by apologies.”
The massacre of 16 Afghan children, women and men by an American soldier “was not the first incident, indeed it was the 100th, the 200th and 500th incident.”
Such harsh talk may sound as if it comes from the Taliban, but those are
all remarks either made personally by the United States’ increasingly hostile ally here, President Hamid Karzai, or issued by his office in recent days and weeks.
The strongest such outburst came Friday. “Let’s pray for God to rescue us from these two demons,” Mr. Karzai said, apparently holding back tears at a meeting with relatives of the massacre victims, and clearly referring to the United States and the Taliban in the same breath. “There are two demons in our country now.”
I agree with Weasle Zipers when he says, "I almost look forward to the day Karzai no longer has the U.S. military keeping him in power and the Taliban do to him what they did to Najibullah."
Other headlines make me cringe too: Obama Says He’s More Proud of Passing Obamacare Than Killing Osama Bin Laden… who was being hidden and protected in ... Pakistan by the Pakistan military. Then the brilliant Joe Biden says, “This health care law is the most audacious piece of legislation passed over the last 500 years.” I have no doubt that is how many in the administration truly feel. I was actually surprised when Obama finally gave the order for the seals to actually go in and take out Osama.
As to the health care law, I'm praying that the Supreme Court will strike it down. Our future seems to be in their hands. I have no doubt that the United States will be on an even worse downward slide if the remaineder of Obamacare is allowed to survive. May it die a quick death.
Speaking of quick deaths, may members of the Taliban in both Afghanistan and Pakistan meet with quick and painful deaths via US drones. (Image: Omar Khalid [center], from his latest propaganda video. Image from the SITE Intelligence Group, via Long War Journal)
Omar Khalid al Khurasani is the al Qaeda-linked leader of the Movement the Taliban in Pakistan's branch in the Mohmand tribal agency, according to Bill Roggio:
In the video, Khalid said the Movement of the Taliban in Pakistan was united and strong and operating under the leadership of Hakeemullah Mehsud. Khalid outlined five "important goals" of the Taliban: overthrow the Pakistani institutions; release both Pakistani and "foreign" fighters; impose sharia law; obtain a nuclear weapon; and establish a global caliphate. [snip]
"Our objectives are as clear as the orders in the Qur'an, which is our constitution. Allah said in the Qur'an: 'Fight against hypocrites and apostates till there is no more fitna [sedition],'" he said. "So, until Islam is implemented in Pakistan and Afghanistan, and the Caliphate is established across the world, our jihad will continue. This is our first and foremost objective." (continue at Long War Journal )
The Taliban's plans are clear, they are bloody, they are without end until the Islamic Caliphate is a reality, and they are working with groups like al-Qaeda.
So the questions seem clear, the answers not so much. Do we stay in Afghanistan? Do we continue to pump billions into Afghanista, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and on and on and on.... And if we don't, what will the outcome be for the Middle East? For Israel? Don't forget Iran is going full steam ahead on the nuclear program. More important -- what will the outcome be for a free and safe America?
Bloody Hell, it's a bloody mess over there, with the potential for a bloody mess here at home. Heaven help us all.

Nobama would be more proud of marxist legislation than of killing an anti-American terrorist. As for the Occutards, they are what the Democrap Party breeds: dependent, ignorant, "useful idiots" to the elite marxists, who'll discard them when and if their command and control aims are achieved. Too late will the Occutards learn that they have been used.

Interesting that the far left are now calling for the blood of the rich. I know they share some common interests with the islamists, but i didn't realize that they would openly start calling for blood to be spilled.

Silly link, RWT. One spray painter doesn't add up to all on the "far left." Just as the tripe that's all over this site doesn't mean is speaks for all on the Right.
