Sandra Fluke
By Frederick William Dame
Just Thinking:
The following video here is an interview by Andrea Mitchell with Sandra Fluke, a law student at Catholic Georgetown University who demands that women students at the university be provided with free contraceptives. Firstly, Andrea Mitchell appears to be a living zombie! Secondly, and more important, is the meaning of Sandra Fluke's name. She doesn't know it, therefore I'm going to tell you the meaning of her name.
Fluke: noun. There are three flukes in the English language.
Fluke 1: the flat end of each arm of an anchor because they resemble the flat fish called fluke.
Fluke 2: a flatfish, sole of foot.
Fluke 3: Drum rolls!!! Trumpets blare!!! TaTaTaTaaa TaTaaaaa! This is Sandra Fluke!!! From approximately 1860 fluke has meant a stroke of luck, with emphasis on stroke. The noun fluke emerged from playing billiards meaning to get good balls. Good balls were happy flukes! There is an older meaning of fluke that goes back to ca 1800-1830. This meaning is an easy dupe. Isn't it wonderful how these definitions apply to Sandra Fluke? She is certainly a dupe, a person easily deceived, probably by her non-education at some liberal high school where pupils by some liberal magic suddenly become students! ...

I've always thought of the 'fluke' as a parasitic trematode worm...kind of like a leech. Which, in this case, is also perfectly applicable.

Dear Miss Fluke is not a 23 year old kid but a 30 year old "Professional" agitator.
When I first saw her the "Profession" I thought she was in had nothing to do with being a student and everything to do with a prone position.
