Muslim Congressman: U.S. Schools Should Be Modeled After Madrassas, the ones “where the foundation is the Qu’ran”

This is why practicing Muslims should not be allowed in U.S. politics.  Yet another mole in Congress:

"America will never tap into educational innovation and ingenuity without looking at the model that we have in our Madrassas, in our schools where innovation is encouraged. Where the foundation is the Koran," Rep. Andre Carson (D-Indiana) said at the ICNA-MAS convention at the end of May.  See video at RCP, the Right Scoop, hat tip Drudge.

As Robert Spencer says, "In madrassas they generally teach only the Qur'an. And sometimes bomb-making."

He didn't get elected. He is finishing out his mother's term. But since his district is all black, and his mother was in office for decades, he will be reelected with a large margin.
