Via Gateway Pundit:
On August 6, 2011, 30 US service members were killed when a CH-47 Chinook helicopter they were being transported in crashed in Wardak province, Afghanistan. It was the deadliest single loss for U.S. forces in the decade-long war in Afghanistan. 17 members of the elite Navy SEALs were killed in the crash.
Yesterday, Karen and Billy Vaughn, parents of Aaron Carson Vaughn, spoke at the Defending the Defenders forum sponsored by the Tea Party Patriots outside the RNC Convention in Tampa. Karen brought a copy of the form letter they were sent following their son’s death.
It’s a form letter.
It was signed by an electric pen.
That’s not all.
Karen Vaughn reached out to the parents of the other SEALs killed in that crash.
Their letters were all the same.
Form letters – signed by an electric pen.
Here’s a closer look at the letter sent to the parents of Chief Petty Officer Nicholas H. Null.
It’s the same form letter.
After the deadliest single loss of US forces in Afghanistan, Barack Obama sent out form letters to the parents.

He is the most disgusting, disgraceful, disrespectful, lump of crap who has ever been President of this great country.
He is more crooked than Nixon, and more incompetant than that peanut farmer from Georgia.
He is not fit to lick the boots of any of these fine men who died that day.....hell he is'nt fit to lick the boots of any member of our Armed Forces ! He is a turd with a capital "T"
Say what you will about George W Bush, but one thing is certain....He genuinely cared about the members of our military , and he was 10 times the man that worthless turd Obama could ever hope to be !
I think i'll need a night cap to help me sleep , this makes me so damn mad ! PALADIN.....OUT !!!!!!

Perhaps we can institute uniformed card-board cut-outs for the military funeral detail next?
If memory serves me, George W. sent a personally penned letter to the family of our fallen. We are not losing in the millions, as during WW II. So it seems reasonable to expect a more personal acknowledgement of the sacrifice-bound-to-oath from the Commander-in-Chief.
Regardless, our military communities take care of one another. Only those who have served can fully understand the depth of our emotion for America.
While it is not my place to heap insults on any man I do believe that historians will one day give clear record regarding the current administration.

It's not like he actually wrote the letter.
It's not like 30 simple letters can be written with some respect for 30 of the Best of the best!
And the fact that he used form letters is not the thing that really worries me but to sign 30 simple letters to the families not with a simple pen but with some Auto Pen or JPG graffic of his signature is what really bothers me!
It's true and if anyone does not know it by now, they just don't get it:
Democrats don't give a friggen dime about the Military or their families, just what they can give them when they need it to keep their ass in power!

I don't care if it's a form letter, I would not expect an individually personalized letter from someone I didn't know. But I would also expect someone who didn't know me personally to address me with respect as "Dear Mrs. _______." I see he has addressed these parents by their first names, which I find patronizing.

He is the Commander in Chief of the armed forces of the United States of America. As to whether he directly knew the deceased or their family is not the issue. It is a chain of command issue. Just my opinion.
