Well, actually I'm waiting to hear 82 year old Clint Eastwood speak tonight. The highlights of last night were former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez, and VP candidate Paul Ryan of Wisconsin. All three kicked butt. The good news for the Republican Party is that we have many strong leaders.
Here is the official list of speakers for tonight, Thursday, - no mention of Clint Eastwood - but at 4:00 p.m. today the RNC confirmed that Clint Eastwood will make a special cameo appearance at the Republican National Convention before Mitt Romney speaks Thursday night.
Clinton "Clint" Eastwood, Jr. is an American film actor, director, producer, composer, and politician. Eastwood first came to prominence as a supporting cast member in the TV series Rawhide. (Wiki)
Eastwood's biography is here, he is an impressive man.
The theme tonight seems to be give parents a choice when it comes to schools for their children. I second that emotion. But I'm betting Eastwood won't be talking about schools and education, but I could be wrong.
Excerpts of Mitt Romney's speech here, in case anyone is interested.

Eastwood! Eastwood! Eastwood!
BTW, he has a new movie coming out in September: "Trouble with the Curve."
"Gran Torino" was supposed to be his final film appearance, but he has decided to do this new film, which has already been proclaimed Oscar material in the early reviews.

AOW:
Yes I read about the movie, good for him. He was cheated out of recognition he deserved in previous years, perhaps this time Hollywood will do right by him. Oh wait, he's speaking at the RNC, cancel any credit from the Liberals

@Debbie,
I agree, but being such a fan of his movies (well, some of them) it surprises me that he seems so ancient nowadays. Then, again, I get the same thought whenever I gaze into the mirror. :o)
