Not a pretty sight. Democrats have changed their convention platform to add a mention of God and declare that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. They took three votes and didn't look very democratic to me. Video below.

The Democrats have seen the light as to how politically damaging it was to take God and Jerusalem out of the party platform and amended it a short while ago. They needed a 2/3rds vote and they voted 3 times to try and get it. But what they got sounded more like a 50/50 to me.
And the Arab American Democrats were not happy one bit.

I think having to take three votes to amend their platform AFTER the pushback about leaving out God and Israel speaks VOLUMES as to what their beliefs are.

If you can not understand what party will protect your first amendment rights, especially the right to practice your religion, after this situation, AND IT'S ON VIDEO, (for now) what else can anyone say to you to get you to vote in your own RELIGIOUS self interest?
Please engage brain and drop the PC. It's OK to vote to replace someone that you NOW KNOW FOR SURE DOES NOT REPRESENT THE AMERICA YOU REALLY WANT!

This is a party in disarray. A party in trouble.
Reports all day coming out how little money Obama is raising compared to Romney; how they are having trouble getting seats filled (empty chairs, ha); cancelling the Panther stadium; on and on.
How anyone could vote for people with no morals is beyond me.

Let me get this straight. God has been around forever. Jerusalem is inextricably linked to Israel and the Jews. And the Dems still have to vote THREE times before they acquiesce to imagining a majority? Am I the only one that believes that “party platforms” should have been thought out a LONG time before the convention actually begins?

I love it: the dnc (duck 'n cover) throws God out of the party to please the non-Christians of their base. Then after three contentious votes, they let God back in, to the outrage of their non-Christian base, and to the comic-opera aire of their convention. Which, incidentally, fools no one outside of Charlotte, and not very many therein. The cancer of libdom, eating itself as we watch.
