What amazes me, what makes our Nation such a great example to the rest of the world, is that our country leaves the vetting of the candidates for the highest Office in the land up to “a Free Press”!
We all now know that Gov. Romney sleeps in “as little as he can”, but what vetting has been done concerning Mr. Obama? There are all sorts of questions out there:
His Birth name is not a question, but he was legally adopted and his name was changed to Barry Soetero, by his adoptive Father LoLo Soetero in Indonesia. When did Soetero/Obama have his name legally changed back to his birth name, or, is he illegally using an alias? Questions abound around his Birth Certificate, Social Security Number, Selective Service registration, Travel to Pakistan and what passport was used, Education histories, how it was paid for and who paid for it, how was the funding obtained, under what student status and under what name. But the Press, the fourth Estate who is responsible to investigate these facts, does nothing except naming people who have questions, "Birthers".
If you have a question about the legal requirements for President of the United States, here is the pertinent section of the US Constitution:
Article II, Section I, Paragraph 5:
“No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of the President; neither shall any person be eligible to the office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty-five years, and been fourteen years a resident within the United States”
Isn't anyone, liberal or conservative, who wishes to have the Constitution followed a good Citizen, a Law-abiding American?
(Just a side note: The Founding Fathers required the President of the United States, to be a “natural born citizen” (the off-spring of two, citizens of the united states, in keeping with the legal thinking of the time) this, history has proven, to be a wise requirement:
The leader of Germany (1933-1945), Adolf Hitler, was not a German at all, an Austrian citizen by birth. Hitler, lead Germany, Europe and the world into a mass conflagration that cost the world over 50 million lives with the ramifications of which, effecting us to this very day!)
If all these questions are just that, conspiracies without merit, wouldn't you think that the press would be the first to check these out, to dispel them? They could prove their contention, that the republicans, conservatives and TEA party types are all racist, and not supporting the President simply because he is "Black"!
With this huge opportunity to prove this once and for all, to possibly weaken the political rights electoral power for decades to come, within their grasp, within their direct control, without having to get permission in anyway, from anyone, the press does…nothing!
The Press, with their failure to do their main responsibility, of informing the public of the facts, (RE: The people have a right to know!) have done nothing and by doing nothing, they establish the validity of the “questions” in the first place! Only the press could prove those questions baseless but, the press still…does…nothing!
By not investigating and proving these questions valid or not, by extension, they are part of a cover-up, either willing, unwilling or unknowing, to first allow, and now to continue to allow, Mr. Obama to enter the Oval Office, unchallenged, to change national policy and effect our Nation in a negative way for years to come!
If Mr. Obama is, who and what he says he is, why pay the money he has paid to block access to so many bits of information? How can we have a “transparent” Presidency, when Mr. Obama himself, is anything, but transparent?
I ask the press, I plead for the fourth estate to do their duty, before it is too late, completely vet Mr. Obama and establish the facts, one way or the other, as their mandate clearly requires! A Pulitzer Prize awaits you!
The press is not the only part of our country that has failed us.
There is a Sheriff in Arizona, Joe Arpaio from Maricopa County. He has had his Posse, investigate the birth certificate and the circumstances surrounding the birth of Mr. Obama.
There have been 2 news conferences that have laid out all the violations of security on the document that the President has claimed is his birth Certificate! Sheriff “Joe” claims to have proof of fraud, proof of an on-going effort to hide the truth from the American People.
Since when, have you ever heard of a Sheriff, not going to a grand jury and obtaining a “true bill”, a criminal indictment, and an arrest warrant for a felonious crime within his jurisdiction? Either he is willing to enforce the law under his jurisdiction or he is not! If he does not, then it’s time to find out why, and to determine the reasons for his failure to do his duty! Is it a lack of moral conviction, timidity, malfeasance or corruption? The Sheriff “talks the talk but will he walk the walk?” Recently, charges against Sheriff “Joe” and his Office have been dropped by the US Department of Justice, under Eric Holder, regarding abuses concerning the treatment of Illegal Aliens.
Was the dropping of those charges against Sheriff “Joe” and his office, the first part of a “Quid Pro Quo” concerning the legal discontinuance of the Sheriff’s investigation about the validity of Mr. Obama’s birth certificate? The court of public opinion is still open on the subject.
High crimes and Misdemeanors… There seems to be a lot of that, going around!
In closing, I say this to the American people:
We are at a true cross roads in the history of our Great nation, either we ignore all these questions and continue on in the same manner that we have been for the last few years, or, we stand for our children, our country and the American way of life.
If we choose Mr. Obama and a continuance of the same policies that have gotten us to this economic and political point, we will soon face a financial point of no return, which will result in only a few having anything, while hundreds of millions will have nothing! This will also result in continued international conflict with millions of people because of a lack of moral leadership and a continued weakening of the protections of our rights under the US Constitution.
If we choose Governor Romney, with a clear and successful background in business and a life long period of public service, All of us can face the facts and turn our nation away from the financial brink of destruction, providing a solid foundation allowing all of us, left, right, liberal and conservative, to prosper for years to come!
Opinions vary, but, it seems a clear choice has presented itself!

I fear the problem is a bit deeper than suggested. Certainly, Obama needs to be sent packing. Your analysis of the media is also spot on but more important than the fourth estate issue - I bring into question the US House of Representatives. Controlled by the republicans, the US House has been derelict in its duty to oversee and hold the administration and president accountable.
For me, this represents a far greater issue as the checks and balances intended and by design incorporated into the constitution are left null and void.
Republican House leadership must also be replaced.

Me thinks when the debates are held this week , Romney will attack and the media won't be there to rescue the turd.
If romneys smart, thats what he'll do.

He had better get on and stay on the offensive, if he really cares about being President.
If he's the nice "Morman Man", he won't be President!
He had better drop all the "fundeo", dark smelly cheese or he's going to be back in Michigan sipping
tang!
Of course the Idea that our new President and his VP are all non-military men with no real, Mean Guy training to fall back on, that bothers me, I have to tell you.
Right now, we don't need a nice guy, we need a US Army Ranger, a knife, no chow, or ammo, 1 canteen, a 85 pound ruck with 21 miles to go!
