American vodka?

Wouldn't mind trying some of that.

Kraken and Captain Morgan rum are going dark and Jack Daniels is going white. What is this world coming to? :o)

Bloviating Zeppelin

Nice to know, but I'm -- as BZ -- still a vodka guy.

I've always said: "there isn't one problem that you can't solve by either vodka or a throat punch."

PALADIN

I drank a lot of whiskey when i was serving and for a while after, but now i seldom drink much, maybe a beer on a hot day or a nice glass of wine with a good meal but thats about it.
My 2 most favorite whiskeys were Canadian Club and Jack Daniels.
When i was working in S.E. Asia there was a Thai Whiskey called Mekong and that stuff was the closest you could come to "white Lightnin " besides Everclear.

Mystical Time Traveler

Someone tell me what the difference is between this and moonshine?

z

As long as it still tastes great in 7up, I'm good with this...but I'm more a vodka girl myself, too!

Debbie

I'm no expert as to how to compare this with moonshine or to vodka. I'm a tequila person my self, some vodka.

I can tell you that if you get a chance to visit the distillery, go for it. Very very interesting process, and the smell is delicious.

Grouch at Right Truth

Wonder if will be cheaper than the stuff that sits around in barrels for 5 years or so?

@Mystical Time Traveler: They'll cut the White Dog down to 80 proof. My friend, Lizzard, makes shine at about 160-170 proof. Would make good rocket fuel. Also the White Dog will be charcoal filtered.

williebill65

Jack daniels makes their stuff with really clean grain. Some of the best "shine" is made from Feed Corn, molases mix. it will light up a rocket to.
Even though I don't drink anymore, I may try a half pint.
