South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley’s decision to appoint Congressman Tim Scott to the U.S. Senate is being welcomed by... Well, welcomed by all real Republicans and Conservatives, unwelcomed by Liberals.

According to this, Gov. Nikki Haley has announced that she is appointing Rep. Tim Scott to the Senate, which is basically a giant pile of awesomesauce.
Scott will replace Jim DeMint, who's off to run the Heritage Foundation.
Tim Scott will be the only black person in the Senate, and the first black Republican to serve in the Senate since the 70's. And to that I say, "This is a MEGA IMPROVEMENT over the last black senator, who is now unfortunately running the whole country." (read more)
