NEWTOWN, Conn.—A Lutheran charity
group has sent about 10 golden retrievers to comfort the survivors of
Friday's mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.
Lutheran Church Charities in Addison, Ill., sent the dogs on an
800-mile journey to respond to the disaster.
Lutheran Church Charities President Tim Hetzner told the Chicago Tribune that the dogs "are nonjudgmental. They are loving. They are accepting of anyone."

Oh sweet puppies.

My mother used to raise Goldies when we still had the ranch back in Saskatchewan, and to this day, she still has one.
Her latest one is called Miss Ellie, and she's 4 years old and one big ball of fur and love !
I just love her too, and plan on raising them and Czech bloodline German shepards when we move out west in the future.
These dogs are perfect for this assignment and they will comfort these people and maybe even put some smiles on some faces.
God willing.
