From Tennessee Campaign for Liberty:
By refusing to stand firm against a tax increase, Senators Lamar
Alexander and Bob Corker are revealing their willingness to vote for
more taxes. See this snippet of a recent article -
While other Middle Tennessee Republicans in Congress expressly oppose raising tax rates as part of any solution to the looming “fiscal cliff,” the state’s two GOP senators appear to be leaving negotiating room.
When asked specifically this week if they would rule out increasing tax rates for those making $250,000 and above — rather than just modifying deductions and exemptions — Sens. Lamar Alexander and Bob Corker stopped short of such a declaration.

Of course we have already reported on Corker's willingness to violate his pledge not to raise taxes and to vote with Obama
(note: In case you didn't notice, the image is from Dumb and Dumber, heh)

Thank the lord that there are men of common sense still among us. I think the ability of these men to look at a viable solution instead of blindly following a black and white line is inspirational. Solutions are rarely found on one side of the line (aisle) or the other. Open communication where people each find the best alternative is the only viable way to go. It is obvious that the author of this blog... has never worked in a group where compromise and advancement were required to solve a problem. Blogs are fun, because you do get to be the King!
