(Follow these rules and you will always work)
Show up 15 minutes before you are expected to start work and leave any attitude at the front door!
Show up Showered with clean and combed hair, Brushed teeth, a fresh set of clean clothes and go home dirty!
You will use, Please, Thank you, Yes Sir, No Sir, Yes Ma’am, No Ma’am, or Miss and remember in business, your right to free speech is exactly equal to your right to be unemployed.
Dedicate yourself to be the most knowledgeable employee, always speak positively about the company, make the business you work for the best in town with a reputation for being fast in service, high in quality and worthy of good word of mouth and return patronage.
The term “The Customer is always right!” may not be exactly true, but, through your high quality service, let your customers believe that it is and never give them a reason to think otherwise.
Always remember that it might not be “cool” to be the servant, but everyone must start somewhere and Senior Customers were in your place when they were young and they recognize, and will show their appreciation, for hard work and good service.
The fastest way to the unemployment line is to forget that IT IS THE CUSTOMER that ultimately pays your salary, which allows you to eat and pay the rent. Forget what happened at home and remember a bright smile always brightens everyone’s day!
