Mystical Time Traveler

It looks as if this wasn't done by Blogger. In fact they were just as amazed of this as were the blog owners.

The blogs involved are back up. The FBI is looking into the incident and rumor has it that this was done by a Muslim Hacker (possibly Iran).

Debbie

Magical Time Traveler: Thanks for that. I figured that was the case, it has happened many times before specifically to Blogger blogs. It is so easy to click on the button at the top of the blog and report it for something offensive. It takes time to get things straightened out. Glad this was so quickly fixed.

PALADIN

Hmmmmm ? Iblogger is'nt known for it's security features, and neither is wordpress.
I got a nasty e-mail from some chinese turd warning me to quit telling the truth about chinese govt warmongering or he was gonna destroy my blog.

When somebody threatens me, it's the green light to hit em even harder !
And i will.
Me thinks hes a chinese student here in the USA or Canada, as his ip says as much.

That this Muslime hacker could take down this blog, shows that he could breach the password code or worse.
hopefully they did not have too much personal info on their account.

How is typepad for security features Deb ?
Ever had a problem?

GoV was shut down again, yesterday. As one who posts at GoV, both articles and comments, using a pseudonym for the former and "Anonymous" for the latter, Blogger's "Verboten" sign is posted on a virtual barbed wire fence with "We are here to help you" goons manning the machine gun towers.

For the notice is not only about "Terms of Service." The caption reads: "If you are an author of this blog, tell us who you are! Sign is using your Google account." This reads to me like a Googlebama Schutzpolizei dragnet.

Debbie

GOV was back up pretty quickly this time, as were a couple of other Blogger sites. Seems this happens routinely.

The blog,The Last Crusade has been taken down and replaced with a dating site

Debbie

Ginger: Google owns Blogger. Google has it fingers in many pies, thus they can and do control Blogger blogs.

As to the Last Crusade, it has been inactive/gone for a long time. I'm not sure if Mr. Williams stopped posting and took down the site himself, or it was taken down -- 2011 I think.
