We petition the Obama administration to:
Insure that all candidates for the US Presidency prove they meet US Constitutional requirements for the Office.
All candidates for the Office of the President of the United States, shall prove through legal means, to the Attorney General of the United States, that they meet all the legal requirements for the position, called for in the US Constitution (Article II, Section 1, Paragraph 5) as follows:
No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.
Once declared as a candidate, they must "immediately" present their Long form and short form Birth Certificate to the US Attorney General for legal verification
The United States of America has a Constitution that grants all of us alive today, a guideline to operate legally as a Nation. Article II, Section 1, Paragraph 5, illustrates exactly what is required to be attain the Office of the President of the United States of America.
If we get this policy in place, we will no longer have to waste time in campaigns and on legal actions concerning the eligibility of a candidate for the Office.
Please go to the link and add your name to my petition in the hopes that future uncertainty regarding our Presidential candidates no longer rear’s its ugly head!
Given the state of our current battle over the Second Amendment (2a) we need to insure in the future we can concentrate on the idea being endangered and not the concern over the validity of the person in the Oval Office.

It's a little late for this - where were you in 2008? I don't think Eric Holder will go for this, John Ashcroft would have of course.

Good article Jon, and i'd like to see drug testing for ALL the political hacks in D.C.

They make members of the Armed Forces and you Jon had to undergo routine tests as a federal officer, why don't they ?
I'm almost positive Joey Biden would have some splainin to do, given his erratic behavior and the utter stupidity that comes outta his piehole.

The reason I did this petition is to place the procedure available for Americans to vote on by signing the petition...
The thing though, If I dont get 150 signatures, then it wont be "publicly" noted so all of the American People can see it. If that is put out for everyone to see it, watch how the numbers will rise!
This idea tells all future candidates that there are going to be steps for the first time in 223 years, to prove you're a lawful, constitutional candidate.
