A friend in Florida sent me another exciting email that provides solutions to a serious problem. Now before anyone comments that this is biased or hateful, or whatever, I would just like to point out that Islam and allegiance to America are incompatible. That’s it, because I could go on (and on) about how nearly every war on the planet involves Muslims, that they are the only group today that routinely cuts off heads, etc., etc.
The email below seems to have been published on an assortment of websites and blogs in the last year, and I could not pin down the origin. However, I did find a very reliable source, one that informs me that there is some fear and prejudice against Islam in Japan and that most Japanese are uninterested in religion. It seems the main problem for Muslims in Japan is that they are foreigners, but that would be true of any foreigner.
As to the government and other institutions, there are no barriers to Islam and, in fact, Japan does not even ask for religious affiliation in their national census. There are mosques in Japan and Muslims are free to pray and recruit.
University of Tokyo has a Department of Islamic Studies (although not a
separate one of Arabic, but that is almost certain included as part of
this department). As to a journalist named Mohammed Juber, I found no such person and even if he existed, it seems unlikely that a real person so named
would report anything different.
Is this email a hoax, or just wrong? I don’t know, but I thought it would interest the readers of this site.
To say that I was a tad disappointed would be an understatement. This seemed like a great solution to the problem and I suggest we start implementing one or more of the points listed in the email:
Title: Japan, a Country Keeping Islam at Bay. Japan has put strict restrictions on Islam and ALL Muslims.
The reasons are:
a) Japan is the only nation that does not grant citizenship to Muslims.
b) In Japan, permanent residency is not given to Muslims.
c) There is a strong ban on the propagation of Islam in Japan .
d) In the University of Japan, Arabic nor any associated languge is taught.
e) One cannot import the Koran' published in Arabic language.
f) According to data published by the Japanese government, it has given temporary residency to only two Muslims, who need to follow the Japanese law of the Land. These Muslims should speak Japanese
and carry out their religious rituals only in their homes.
g) Japan is the only country in the world that has a negligible number of embassies of Islamic countries.
h) Japanese people are not attracted to Islam at all.
i) Muslims residing in Japan are the employees of foreign companies.
j) Even today visas are not granted to Muslim doctors, engineers or managers sent by foreign companies.
k) In the majority of companies, it is stated in their regulations that no Muslims should apply for a job.
Japanese government is of the opinion that Muslims are fundamentalist
who, even in the era of globalization, they are not willing to adapt
m) Muslims cannot even think about=t renting greeting a rented house in Japan .
n) If anyone comes to know that his neighbor is a Muslim, the entire neighbourhood stays alert.
o) No one can start an Islamic cell or Arabic madrassas in Japan.
p) There is no personal (Sharia) law in Japan.
q) If a Japanese woman marries a Muslim, then she is considered an outcast forever.
r) According to Mr. Komico Yagi (Head of Department, Tokyo University ) “There is a mind frame in Japan that Islam is a very narrow
s) Freelance journalist Mohammed Juber toured many countries after 9/11, including Japan. He found that the Japanese were confident that extremists could do no harm in Japan.
Now you know...
They obviously have more sense than the western world does.
