A former Navy Seal, expert sniper and best-selling author was reportedly gunned down at a Texas shooting range Saturday by a veteran who is recovering from post-traumatic stress syndrome.
Ex-Navy Seal Chris Kyle, 39, and another man were shot point-blank around 3:30 p.m. at a charity event on behalf of Kyle's security firm at the gun range at Rough Creek Lodge and Resort in Erath County.
The
suspect, 25-year-old Eddie Ray Routh, was arrested roughly five hours
later in Lancaster, Texas after a police chase. He was driving Kyle's
truck at the time of the arrest, police said.
Ex-Navy Seal Chris Kyle, author of 'American Sniper,' and a neighbor of his were shot point-blank by another veteran
Kyle, 39, served four tours in Irag and he was awarded two Silver Stars, five Bronze Stars with Valor, two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, and one Navy and Marine Corps Commendation
While in Iraq, Kyle survived being shot twice and he lived through six separate IED explosions as his unit, Charlie company of SEAL Team Three, saw significant combat
Investigators told ABC affiliate WFAA-TV that Routh is a former Marine who was suffering from post-traumatic stress syndrome.
Kyle, a husband and father of two, authored the New York Times best-seller 'American Sniper,' which chronicled his four tours in Iraq. The book hit shelves last month.

His death and the whole thing with Jimmy Lee Dykes makes me wonder if Soros or some leftest isn't out there searching, and maybe even paying these cretins off to do this sort of thing.
Just wondering.

Don't put too much stock into the piece of s%^t that killed him having PTSD.
He knew what he was doing plain and simple, and having PTSD does'nt make one a cold blooded killer for no reason.
It's such a tragedy that he survived so much to die that way.

Susan, I've actually wondered the same thing.
Has anyone else noticed that, since Sandy Hook, there seem to be news reports about shootings every day?
ARE there really more shootings happening, or is it just the Lamestream Media trying to direct the message? IS some shady gray 'someone' behind these shootings? Is that why so many of the shooters suicide before they're caught (so they can't spill any information)?
Okay, I know - sounds all conspiracy-theory, but remember: just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're NOT trying to get you. (chuckle)

The media will, as usually, milk the military angle. Whenever a shooting occurs that continually speak about the military, veterans, or "military style" firearms.
We have gone back to the 19th century where journalists sensationalized the news for effect.

Very sorry for the death of this sniper. It seems surreal. That being said, dead is dead - whether the perpetrator had PTSD or not. Perhaps there is a bigger story here. Was the man turned down for employment in the security firm owned by the deceased?
The assailant must be tried based on the evidence.

Did you hear what Ron Paul said about this man's death???
QUOTE
Chris Kyle's death seems to confirm that "he who lives by the sword dies by the sword."
END QUOTE
Pathetic. Ron Paul hates the military
