The US Constitution, Article II, Section I, paragraph 5 requires a president to be a natural born citizen or NBC. A NBC is the US Citizen offspring, BORN HERE IN THIS COUNTRY, of both Mother and Father US Citizens. Obama is not a NBC, since his Father was a British Citizen at the time of his birth. The dance Obama did about his birth certificate was a ruse; a misdirection to keep attention about his constitutionally based ineligibility out of the public's eye.
The SCOTUS has set precedence on what a NBC is; yet the SCOTUS has remained silent and Obama was allowed to run and then he got elected. Since Obama was ineligible for the Presidency, the only option is to have Senator McCain take over as President. With Joe Biden as the Vice President. I don't like either one, but at least both those men are constitutionally eligible to be President. Obama is not.
Why is this being allowed to continue? It seems to me that a rather large problem exists in our country if the very bedrock of our nation, the US Constitution, and the most important position of our government, the Presidency itself, is allowed to be given over to a person that clearly does not meet the 3 requirements for being president in the first place.
1. The President must be a Natural Born Citizen.
2. The President must have attained the age of 35 years.
3. The President must have had 14 years residence in the United States.
Simple requirements, yet clearly Obama does not meet them, regardless of the games Obama played with the American people about his location of birth, which itself can be questioned, it was all just a game to direct the American People’s attention away from the truth. The truth that his Father was in fact a British Citizen, not a US Citizen and therefor it is not possible for Obama to meet the “Natural Born Citizen” requirement of the US Constitution to be President.
Why has the SCOTUS remained silent when their own decisions have clearly sided with the Constitution and determined that a Natural Born Citizen is the US Citizen offspring, born in this country, of 2 US Citizen Parents? Would it make any sense for the founding fathers to require a lower level of verification and American status of a President when they all knew that the President would lead this country?
Would it make any sense for the founding fathers to allow just any person, who just happens to be born here, especially criminal aliens, to be the leader of this country? Would not you want to have a president that has been born of other Americans to insure that the person leading this great nation has every intention to insure that this country and our people are his prime consideration at all times?
Has our country gotten to such a point with Political correctness (PC) that any challenge to this clearly ineligible person for the presidency cannot be challenged because it would be “racist?” Have we allowed the deterioration of our great nation, a nation of laws, bed rocked by the US Constitution, to fall to such a state that we can no longer defend the very instrument, and that instrument’s requirements, because of the color of one’s skin? Have the American people become so cowed, manipulated by appearance and what some uninformed person might say about them personally to cause them to remain silent in the defense of our nation’s most treasured documents that insured our status as a Republic?
We, the American people, must stand and tell these fools in Congress, and the clear usurper in the Oval office, what we know to be truth and damn those same fools in Congress and anywhere else that would dare to say that we are racist, when we only want our nation to follow our Constitution as written by great men inspired by our Lord above.
This inspiration allowed for the first time on Earth to come into existence a nation that everyone has a voice and the power that comes with it, to have impact and some control over their own lives. Our Constitution, when followed, allows us, through the ballot box, to voice our feelings and jointly decide our own fates.
We must follow the Constitution or we are lost and we will no longer have our blessed Republic but dictatorship, strife and pain for decades to come.
