R.J. Godlewski

My personal opinion has always been towards the "hacking" scenario. Terrorist groups do not need to steal a plane, they have more than enough money to buy one. Holding passengers does not instill any undue fear when most of the world ALREADY assumes they are dead.

At this very preliminary stage, the only thing that makes sense is a dry run for "someone" to take over control of the aircraft via hacking into the computer that actually controls the aircraft. THEN, they would have the ability to panic an entire population in a manner that would make 9/11 look like child's play.

Of course, WHERE all this took place would make even a very minor incident extraordinary due to the inability of the various governments involved to get anything done.

I suspect that the real "mystery" remains how inept indigneous governments can be...

I buy the hacking scenario also. The idea that a plane that size with that many people could just disappear from all radar, satellites, etc. is beyond belief to me these days. It makes everybody look inept. We're worried about somebody listening in on a phone call and we can't find a plane???

With the shift towards the pilot, his extremely advanced home simulator, and his obsession with the engineering aspects of the 777 only increase my concerns.

He could have allowed software designers to practice all they wanted (much like how terrorists use alternate reality sites such as Second Life to plan attacks with the unwitting help of other players).

Yes that homemade simulator is very interesting. Also the fact that his wife and children moved out of their expensive home the day before the plane took off.

Has obozo blamed Bush yet?
