Nick says that he is both excited and humbled by the opportunity. We have always considered him a natural choice as director, because of his great talent but also because he cares so deeply about the project.
Nick has said that he feels a great responsibility to our many investors, and is determined to answer and explore three primary aspects to this story: what really happened in that anonymous brick building in West Philadelphia, why was it allowed to happen, and most importantly, why did no one want to talk about it after it happened?
Some of Nick's first activities will be to cast actors, select locations and create the production schedule. An increased budget will allow us a longer shooting schedule, more locations and stronger actors. A greater budget will also let us tell more about the thousands of lives that were lost at the hand of Gosnell, and the redemption that was miraculously experienced by others.
We plan to shoot in the summer, so In order to confirm our cast, our locations, and our schedule, we need to raise $500,000 by May 14th, 2015.
Of human sacrifice, and parents tears. Milton. Paradise Lost.
Just when we thought that it couldn't get any worse, the faithful followers of Mohammed have provided the world with yet more evidence that their religion pre-dates both Judaism and Christianity. That is to say, many of its barbarous actions pre-date the blessings of Sinai and Calvary, when God Himself stepped into history to show mankind the way out of darkness and into light.
During the seasons of Chanukah and Christmas, when Jews celebrate the miracle of oil for the temple light and Christians celebrate the coming of Light into the world, the depraved disciples of allah have brought darkness into, of all places, a childrens' school.
Storming the Army Public School in Peshawar, Pakistan, 6 warriors of Mohammed armed with machine guns and rocket launchers against children with pens and pencils, slaughtered 148 and wounded a further 121, without a single loss to themselves, barring their eternal souls. Immediately following their success the 6 sent a message to their fearless commanders, "We have killed all the children, now what do we do?" Modesty forbade them mentioning the courage they displayed in burning a teacher to death. Unfortunately for them, men equally armed turned up and despatched them to where they belong.
Excuse the sarcasm, it's becoming more difficult by the day to speak of these atrocities in any normal manner. Shakespeare himself would have been lost for words, resorting to something like "a deed without a name". Precisely, there's no name, no word.
Chief in the litany of crime, the killing of children is the most despicable, cowardly, heartless, conscienceless, and inhuman. The act is not that of an animal but that of a non-human, an infinitely lower form of creature, one that has substituted the imago Dei for the imago diabolus. Lower than the animals, he has become a devil.
Not only are there attempts at character assassination of the officer but the character assassination of the complete police department of Ferguson has ensued
Michael Brown steals a fistful of cigars from a convenience store. The surveillance video shows him shoving a man who attempts to block the door. As the man backs away, Mr Brown turns and walks in a threatening manner towards the shopkeeper. Michael Brown is 6’4” and 300 pounds. Any physical altercation between the robber and merchant is a mismatch of force. The actions of Michael Brown are deemed a “strong-arm robbery with the use of force”. Let me put this in perspective. The shopkeeper is about my size. Visualise a 300-pound man shoving a woman who is 5’2”. You get the picture.
Minutes later, Michael Brown and his accomplice are seen walking in the street and obstructing traffic. Officer Darren Wilson asks the men to move off the street. He is unaware of the events that had occurred earlier. As the officer seeks to exit his vehicle, the 300-pound walking tower beats the officer nearly to unconsciousness leaving him with periorbital fractures (unconfirmed) and facial injuries (unconfirmed). There are unconfirmed reports of a shot fired during the struggle.
What we do know for sure is that Michael Brown is dead. We do know that the officer is injured. His home is vacant. He cannot stay there. We know that Ferguson, Missouri, had a regional crime scene that involved an assault on a uniformed public safety officer. We know the officer discharged his weapon and killed his assailant. We also know that Ferguson, Missouri, is a case study for national race baiting. Ferguson is a keg. The government postured toward the political checkerboard and chose the colour black.
August 12, 2014. Close on the heels of any event that might showcase white-on-black violence is the usual appearance of Reverend Al Sharpton, otherwise known as Reverend sower-of-seeds-of-discord. This man cut his teeth on falsehood and propaganda in the prior century. In 1987, Tawana Brawley set our nation on its heels with her false accusation of being raped by six white men. The 15-year-old’s list of villains included police officers and a prosecuting attorney. Mainstream media gave relentless coverage to Tawana Brawley. Sharpton was omnipresent to console and cajole. The media circus began in 1987 and continued into October of the following year. At that time, a grand jury determined that lil’ Miss Brawley had made the whole thing up. We swallowed the big lie. To this day, more than a few refuse to spit it out. Mainstream media has given equally vigorous coverage to the situation in Ferguson, Missouri. Reverand Al Sharpton? He operates with the same dynamic as the average Sunni versus Shia cleric, or vice versa. Words of peace do not generate zakat, baby!
Hubby and I saw the movie The Giver today which is about a seemingly perfect community, without war, without pain, without suffering, without differences or choices. Actors include: Jeff Bridges, Meryl Streep, Brenton Thwaites, Alexander Skarsgard, Katie Holmes.
The movie was well written, produced, and the actors did a great job. The film probably touched too close to home for many considering the direction we are headed with our political correctness here in the US. Only certain words are allowed.
The Guardian says some Americans hail the movie as a timely warning:
The American Spectator ran a column in which activist and Tea Party founding member Mark Meckler, said: “Conservatives, especially pro-life people of faith and liberty-loving Tea Partiers, will identify with certain elements of the movie. In fact, in a few moments, I had to remind myself that this film actually came out of Hollywood.”
The Giver is based on a 1993 science-fiction book of the same name by Lois Lowry. It is set in a dystopian future, where an all-powerful government has eliminated all love, color, music, art, dissent and difference; every aspect of life is centrally-controlled by an elite cabal, and humanity has been forced to give up even the memory of individuality. One quote in particular from the film resonated with the film’s rightwing fans; spoken by Meryl Streep’s character, the sinister and all-controlling Chief Elder, who delivers the line straight to camera with intense menace: “when people have the freedom to choose, they choose wrong.” (continue reading this fine article at The Guardian)
Since its release in 1993, "The Giver" has sold more than 10 million copies and has become a standby in many American classrooms. Yet the film, which opened nationwide Aug. 15, didn't enjoy monumental success its first weekend — netting an estimated $12 million and $15 million worldwide.
I'm hoping that more people will go see this movie, there is really nothing like it.
There is a strong anti-abortion element to the movie. But more than that, there is little value given to life because people have no feelings.
As the 11-year-old hero of Lois Lowry's epic young adult dystopian novel "The Giver," Jonas set on a path to become his society's next Receiver: The person designated to carry on memories of the way his community once was before the government enacted "Sameness," taking everything from color to emotion out of the equation for the population. There's just one problem: Receiving the memories makes Jonas question "Sameness" and escape the only life he's known. (Deseret News)
Go see this movie, it is well worth your time and money.
When a government engages lawlessness, the powerful must be confronted and brought to account. When the Federal branch institutionalizes human trafficking of an uneducated peasant class of children, ugly truth must be addressed. The federal branch is aiding the creation of a future social strata of cheap labor. This is a form of soft slavery. This action is immoral. And yet it is a policy which is being aggressively pursued by the current U.S. administration.
The U.S. State Department releases a yearly “Trafficking in Persons Report”. The tenth edition includes a forward written by Hillary Rodham Clinton.
“I am pleased to celebrate and reflect upon the last decade of progress identifying and fighting the phenomenon of modern slavery…This annual assessment is an opportunity to diagnose the world’s efforts to implement the “3P” paradigm of prevention, protection, and prosecution… Ending this global scourge is an important policy priority for the United States.”
Quoting from the body of the report, “According to the Palermo Protocol, repatriation of trafficking victims should preferably be voluntary and done with the victim’s safety in mind. Many governments, believing they are acting in the victims’ best interests, make concerted efforts to return victims to their countries of origin as quickly as possible.”
So let’s take a look at the “3P” paradigm and examine how the federal branch is embarking on a subtle course to institutionalize human trafficking whilst *cloaking their deeds in darkness, and *attempting to deceive the American public.

Despite England’s experiences during World War II and her current informal “occupation” by her own brand of deadly Islamists, The Guardian’s views are neither civilized nor rational. In his column, Gaza: this shameful injustice will only end if the cost of it rises, Seurnas Milne has a willful misinterpretation of the events in the Middle East. His column is laden with stark hatred and lies, and he clearly champions a policy that supports the Hamas Covenant, a Charter that calls for the eventual creation of the 58th Islamic state in “Palestine,” and the obliteration or dissolution of the only homeland for the Jewish people – as well as the annihilation of the Jewish people worldwide.
The Guardian is often factually inaccurate, as its writers insist on their own type of equity for what amounts to a verbal pogrom against the Jewish state - but not against tyrannical regimes. However, even ISNA (Islamic Society of North America), Syrian American Medical Society, Syrian Relief and Development, Muslim Public Affairs Council and Islamic Relief USA recently condemned Syria’s chemical weapons attack of her people (including women and children). When it was revealed that at least 108 people, including 49 children under age 10, were slaughtered in the 15-month Houla massacre, it was explained as acceptable that tyrants kill children to intimidate the opposition!
There was no demand for equal justice when Mahmoud Abbas’s terrorists slaughtered the 11 Israeli athletes in 1972 Munich, and no demand for vengeance for the beheading of Jewish-American journalist, Daniel Pearl. They expressed no shock at the injustice of Israel’s exchange of 1027 terrorist prisoners for the life of one kidnapped Israeli soldier, Gilad Shalit, or when terrorists slaughtered the Fogel family or the three Israel teenagers. They maintained their silence throughout the firing of thousands of rockets into Israel from Gaza, never demanding balance with an equal number of rockets from Israel to Gaza.
To define this further, Israel follows the rules of war and targets military combatants (after warning Palestinian citizens to escape Israel’s retaliation), whereas Hamas intentionally targets civilians, deliberately focusing on children, thereby breaking two rules of war – killing their own and Israel’s children. The media cry that there weren’t enough Jewish children killed to match the number of Muslim children, and they want to blame only Israel for the death of Muslim children even when Hamas is entirely responsible. All the wars were begun with Islamic attacks and, by international law, Israel has every right to defend herself – her boundaries and her citizens.
The media offer little coverage when the Islamic culture encourages children to detonate themselves among Israelis, and when parents celebrate the occasions with candy, enjoying Hamas’s gifts, and naming town squares after their expendable offspring. And although sharia law denounces music and dance, it appears to be acceptable to revel in the streets for their martyred sons and daughters.
The hostile Guardian and similar news sources raise their voices only for the number of Palestinian children killed, although the BBC has been awakened to new evidence that numbers received from Gaza are quite skewed. Israel provides shelters for their children; Gazans provide shelter for their rockets, and endanger children for an increased body count for public sympathy. And while Israel’s hypocritical enemies, including Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi, call Hamas a humanitarian organization, the West continues its funding for inhumane reasons – such as for the extensive system of tunnels dug for access to Israeli children’s schools and kibbutzim for an impending hands-on carnage.
Land acquisition is a major priority for the Islamic agenda, and the Qur’an allows deception, lies, and human sacrifice for the cause. Islam also relies on the humanity and basic decency of Judeo-Christian people and nations to disbelieve what we find unfathomable. Jihad exists in many ways, from Israel to Africa, Scandinavia, Spain, Germany, China, America and England. Few journalists are fit to report accurately or are willing to accept the truth for themselves. None of these host countries, including Israel, is an “occupier,” yet each is an invaded land, and we should be defending our homeland NOW, or be prepared to relinquish our identity and culture to Islamic oppression.
As in the greater Middle East, where previous peoples have been annihilated or Islamized, they could not adequately defend themselves and were conquered by Islam. Israel can, will, and has every right to do so under international law.
Jihad training begins with treating children as chattel and indoctrinating them at an early age to hate the kaffir (the "rejecter” of Allah). Pedophilia, demoralizing and frightening to the children, is legalized, and “thighing” infants to raping young children” will continue in the Muslim world as long as “Allah” encourages men to be owners instead of husbands and fathers. Sodomizing a baby is halal (permitted under Sharia law).
Pre-adolescent marriage is codified in Qur’an 65:4, and women are held hostage under law, subject to severe punishment, and it is under these circumstances that children are raised to be fearful and subservient to their master. Polygamy also affects children, immersing them in a self-pitying, resentful, victim mentality. If the reader would like to delve further into this depraved culture, please read Nonie Darwish’s Cruel and Usual Punishment.
The primarily unschooled, illiterate majority, who foresee no self-fulfillment or escape, become hair-trigger-angry young men who hate their lot in life, are brainwashed and compelled to do as bidden, and prepared to die for the cause. In so doing, they see a way out – an escape to tranquility and the promise of sexual pleasures in Paradise.
These are but a few of the reasons that create an unfeeling underclass of warriors who have no sympathy for children, but will use them for their purpose. Keeping children near explosives and bombs will ultimately lead to an increased body count, just as using child labor for tunnel excavation resulted in the loss of more than 160. Not only are women and children placed on rooftops of targeted buildings (those from which rockets are fired into Israel) and used as human shields, but a recent video showed jihadists hanging small, terrified, crying boys from a targeted building’s fence. And if these children do survive their childhood, they will become the next generation of damaged, robotic killers who feel no compassion and are inured to pain and bloodshed.
This is a horrific example of child abuse to which the media turn a blind eye, and the U.N. fails to address. Rather, the immoral go out of their way to blame the Israel Defense Forces for harming women and children who are forced into such circumstances. The media fail us, just as the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) predicted. Journalists like Milne, whether cowardly or deceptive, would become an acquiescent, obedient djimmi, a “useful idiot” that represents the Islamic-fascist mentality, willing to accept caliphate domination in the interest of hate or “peace.”
A recently discovered Hamas manual verifies its method of urban warfare. “Introduction to the City War” extols the benefits of civilian deaths and admits that Israel tries to avoid them. This is not a Hamas war against ”occupiers,” but an Islamic war to annihilate the entire state of Israel, against which Israel must continue to defend until there is unconditional surrender. It is also a reminder that this is WAR – a global war - against all who will not accept Islamic Sharia law. And, if the media continue its stance against Israel, and continue to look away from Islam’s slaughter of Christians, they may well be designing a future for themselves under the very cruel and severe Sword of Allah, from which no conquered nation has ever recovered.
Meriam Ibrahim, the Sudanese Christian who was sentenced to death for leaving Islam, despite never having been a Muslim (according to Sudanese law she is as her father was one), arrived in New Hampshire today. She refused to recant her Christian faith despite the death sentence placed on her by the Sudanese government. Although the death sentence was postponed until her daughter, born in May, reaches the age of two years, the child and her 18 month old brother both lived with their mother in a filthy Sudanese jail. Daniel Wani, Meriam’s husband, is a naturalized American citizen hence she and the children can legally live in the United States.
The Italian government played a major role in helping the family leave the Sudan and also sent a government plane to bring them to Italy. After meeting the pope and spending a week in Rome they flew to Philadelphia were they were greeted by Mayor Michael Nutter who spoke of freedom and about how fitting it is that she should arrive in the United States at Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love, which was founded for people of all faiths. He also presented her with a small replica of the Liberty Bell. I’m sure she understood the symbolism of this gesture, and if she does not know it already, she will soon learn that the Liberty Bell was cast with these words from the bible on it: "Proclaim LIBERTY throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof." (Leviticus 25:10). From there they headed to Manchester, NH, where there is a community of about 500 Sudanese. Her husband and his brother make their home in Manchester.
It had been speculated, even a few days ago, that the family would somehow go to, or through, Washington, DC, and indeed that could still happen. But the White House has been silent on her release, the American Embassy in Khartoum was most unhelpful (until the story went viral) or she would have arrived here months ago, and their story exposes the truth about Islam and about Christianity. The truth is that Islam is very, very bad, especially for women and children, while Christianity is quite the opposite. It also reveals that people want to live in America and that it is a refuge for the oppressed, while the Sudan (97% Islamic) is a place they want to escape from. Hence, it seems unlikely they will be invited or even want to visit Washington, DC to meet American officials there.
Let My People Go
America is not as free as it once was, and although the decline started decades ago, it has accelerated since 2008. Meriam Ibrahim has two small children and a husband with health issues, so one cannot realistically expect her to become an activist in the near future. However she will most certainly become an American citizen, and even if she never becomes an activist, her story exposes the falsehoods that we are presented with here in America on an almost daily basis. Just as it will be impossible for her children to ignore this history, so too will it be impossible for the Sudanese and evangelical communities in America to conceal the truth. These truths of American greatness and of the superiority of Christianity to Islam are embedded in their story. This was a victory for Christianity, for freedom, for America, and also for Italy.
But what about the many problems we face in America, now headed by a Muslim (or at the least a Muslim-world sympathizer)? The freedom we still have is in marked contrast to what she and her family have known in the Sudan. We can expect that their story will be told and retold to countless numbers of people throughout the land. This is a story that is unfolding now, there is a photograph of them on Facebook mid-flight on their way to Rome, and there are photographs of them in Rome and arriving in Philadelphia. This story needs to be told, far and wide. Let those who learn of their story draw their own conclusions, as the conclusions are obvious.
I read the news this morning that a mission group from the First Congregational Church of Hamilton, Massachusetts were 'robbed and assaulted' earlier this weekin Guatemala. I found the wording of reports lacked certain details of the event, so I searched further. There are indications that in addition to one van being carjacked, the adults and teenagers on board were robbed and some of the assaults were of a sexual nature.
“On the way back to Guatemala City Tuesday night they were carjacked, one of the vans was carjacked. They were robbed and assaulted but we’re happy to say they’re safely home,” Dorington Little, pastor of the First Congregational Church of Hamilton, said.
Sources tell 7News some of the assaults were sexual.
“I can’t comment on that because everything that happened right now is private and being handled by our church. Everyone is safe and everyone is sound and everyone is healthy right now,” Krason said.
Krason said she wasn’t in the van that got attacked but the group had just spent eight days in a rural village building houses and leading bible study groups.
Her husband says the congregation is coming together to support each other.
“At first there’s going to be lots of grief and process. It’s a bad thing, when you see this it’s bad. But God is good and we’re going to come together as a church like we never have and we’re going to be there for each other,”David Krason said.
New procedures will be put in place if the trip occurs again next year.
“They were driving at nine at night, so we decided we will never drive at night again. When you do this kind of work, it doesn't guarantee safe passage so you do everything all of the time to make sure everything is safe,” Gail Hull, one of the trip organizers, said.
The group reported to the attack to the US Embassy in Guatemala and they said Guatemalan police would be handling the incident. (WHDH News)
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the people involved. They went to Guatemala to build a house for a homeless family, to conduct Bible studies, to conduct Vacation Bible School for the children, to share the love of God, and to do whatever labor was needed in the village.
Please keep these adults and youth in your prayers.
There is evil in this world no matter where you go and no doubt Satan uses evil people to try and stop the spread of God's Word.
Additional thoughts and questions I would like to see answered:
I realize this was first reported as a local story until Drudge posted a link. This should be a world news story. I would like to see the following questions answered:
Who were the perpetrators of this attack?
How many attackers were there?
What weapons did they have?
What exactly are the local Guatemalan police doing to find the criminals?
What will the process be in the Guatemalan legal system to try and punish these evil people?
What can be done in the future to stop such vile attacks on missions groups, not just in Guatemala but in other mission fields around the world?
Patrick O’Donnell’s Plain Dealer articles of April 17 and 20, regarding Common Core, stated that our educators were surprised that Common Core tests were tough. Why did these people in positions of trust accept the new curriculum before evaluating the complete package and its potential damage? The payoffs far outweighed all other considerations, including the children’s maturity levels and welfare.
Despite the Constitution’s Tenth Amendment that prohibits a federally controlled education system, President Obama's American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (stimulus package) bribed cash-strapped states with $4.35 Billion, Bill Gates Foundation added $200 million more, and states (Ohio: $10 million) will be heavily taxed to cover operational costs of this program that spells disaster.
Gates and “research company,” Achieve, Inc., selected non-academic people to design the standards, excluding educators, parents, and professionals in the disciplines. A 24-member team headed by David Coleman, who also lacks experience with English instruction, signed a non-disclosure agreement, keeping parents and school boards entirely in the dark. And the standards, although accepted, violated three federal laws – Elementary and Secondary Education Act (1965), General Education Provisions Act, and Department of Education Organization Act.
Common Core mandates prohibit teachers from lecturing for more than 15 minutes per day per subject! This “Type #2” agenda is student-centered learning, where the teacher is reduced to facilitator, unable to provide history, purpose, and background for comprehension. How does one grasp a Constitutional Amendment without its foundation and purpose – or find the essence of a speech without the events that inspired it? America’s founding, exceptionalism and achievements are de-emphasized; Islam is whitewashed and accentuated in great detail.
The program is designed to close the education gap by reducing expectations, and emphasizing skills over literary or cultural knowledge. Their perception of college readiness is not academic preparation but abundant test taking that take time from learning, creativity, and encouraging imagination. Great literature and fiction are sacrificed for new sexualized novels that emphasize social activism. Fifty percent of the reading material comprises informational texts and instructional manuals that discourage reading.
Note the test material given for Test I, Grade 3, deals with trickery, disappointment, feelings, social engineering – not resourcefulness, achievement, success. Test 3, Grade 11, deals with aloneness, divisiveness, social issues, and the errors in word usage and punctuation confirm the carelessness that also permeates the history books. Imagine being tested about the Declaration of Independence and speech by Patrick Henry before disambiguating, studying and analyzing them. A brief video would be valueless.
English and Math courses contain social concerns. Students are being taught what to think – that America is a nation of bigots, poverty-creating capitalists, intolerant war-mongering imperialists, anti-immigrants; and segregating, discriminating, disenfranchising racists; and that they should want big government that relies on redistribution of wealth, globalization, etc. Key concepts of America are negative or openly hostile.
The math places students more than two years behind their international peers by eighth grade. High school students will have to pass college exams on faulty information. Reform math is fracturing our society – teachers cannot help the parents who cannot help the children with homework, leading to frustration and anger, and the children are losing interest in school. Our Education Establishment is alienating them from learning.
Highly degreed and qualified professionals, Dr. Sandra Stotsky (developed one of the country's strongest sets of academic standards for K-12 students and the strongest academic standards and licensure tests for prospective teachers), Stanford University professor Dr. James Milgram and New York University professor Jonathan Goodman refused to sign off on Common Core, citing the damage to education posed by its methods.
Microsoft and Achieve’s State Longitudinal Database System, will capture, analyze, and use students’ personal and confidential data from preschool through employment. Through “functional magnetic resonance imaging,” “skin-sensitive equipment” and “cameras that judge facial expressions and posture, data about student frustration, motivation, confidence, boredom and fatigue, plus private family statistics” will be available for workforce development in this German model system..
Pearson publishers are responsible for the textbooks and tests, apps, international media, business information, and more, although their books are shoddily assembled and written. Most notable are the history textbooks that present history out of time context, a smokescreen for what has intentionally been excluded. Our high school students are being brainwashed so that they will be intellectually incapable of dealing with the subversive threat to our country coming from the Muslim Brotherhood and its supporters in the American Islamic community.
Today’s students will be tomorrow’s teachers and leaders, obedient to the state, robbed of their freedom to thrive. Common Core is destructive and it is up to the parents to recapture our educational system from the grip of the current administration.
