Secession is a deeply American principle. This country was born through secession. Some felt it was treasonous to secede from England, but those "traitors" became our country's greatest patriots. (Cong.Ron Paul, now retired) -Politico
Those who read this blog will know that I have reported on the Secession movement more than once. Now it seems that other places and another prominent individual have been in the news regarding this issue, specifically I have in mind Hawaii and New York, plus Ron Paul. Buzzfeed’s Andrew Kaczynski reported on February nineteenth of this year that Paul says Secession is Happening.
Hawaii (it seems to have joined the union under shady circumstances), had its Queen overthrown in 1893, five years prior to the beginning of annexation into the United States. Hawaii has numerous contemporary sovereignty organizations and among their unique features is a tendency toward inherited rights based on descent from the royal Hawaiian family and/or native blood. The really good news for everyone who believes in America and its Constitution is that if Hawaii left the union Congress would no longer be as far left as it is. Strangely enough the Hawaiian separatist movements are not that far from the Tea Party. While most Tea Partiers do not seem to know it, the fact is that the original Boston Tea Party was not about reducing taxes but that there was any tax at all. The founders of the United States believed that Britain had zero right to tax them – just as the independence parties in Hawaii believe.

A great debate has enveloped much of the United States: Why will President Obama not join the terms ‘Islamic’ and ‘Terrorist’ together? The answer is painfully obvious. Barack Obama apparently believes that religion must be approved by and subject to public authority. It is for this reason that the Obama justice department attacks Catholic nuns for violating his administration’s preference for socialized birth control. It exists within his ridicule for those Americans that like to read the Bible. It remains painfully present in his determination to “fundamentally transform” a nation reared on Judeo-Christian tradition. And it is evident in his refusal to single out Islamic jihadists: The terrorists at war with the United States have not earned his permission to be called Muslim and, therefore, President Obama will do everything in his power to hide the enemy from his administration’s eyes. Religion is by the grace of his determination.
So far be it for the president to acknowledge the time-honored Christian “iron-clad law” against evil – “either fight or die”. If the U.S. president can extinguish religion, he can also extinguish the concept of evil itself. Without evil, every action of human beings can be scrutinized as a social byproduct best left for academics to ponder. Therefore, the ISIS fighters beheading and burning non-believers commit these atrocities simply because they remain jobless or disadvantaged. Also, the “Warlike faith” of Muhammad – that even seventh century Jews found distasteful – becomes a religion of peace within the modern world. In the eyes of the Great Definer of Religion, Barack Obama, history is rewritten to suit. Thus, the Crusades become not a defense against 400 years of Muslim aggression, but the instigator for 1,400 years of faith-by-warrior. Obama now becomes like God, where one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as if one day.
This leads us to another great debate of today: How to deal with ISIS? Again, the answer remains painfully obvious. We must hunt down every leader of the Islamic State and kill or capture them. Those whom we catch should be sifted for valuable information. Afterwards, we should nail their bodies to the nearest mosque door with the inscription “This is what happens to anyone that seeks to harm Americans or our friends.” If the unacquainted should reel back in horror over this statement, then they should know that even God created the archangel St. Michael (“Who is like God?”) to set his foot upon the head of the Dragon and pierce the heart of Lucifer with his lance. Aside from this figurative depiction, St. Michael remains no less “God’s Marshal” and challenges all who seek to equate him or herself with Michael’s Master.
Lent is a 40 day season during which Christians prepare for Easter by fasting, repentance, moderation and spiritual discipline. The purpose is to set aside time for reflection on Jesus Christ, His suffering, sacrifice, life, death, burial and resurrection. The connection between the Jewish Passover and Easter is well known but Rabbi Evan Moffic argues persuasively that the preparatory period of Lent derived from the ancient Jewish tradition of Passover preparation. He goes on to identify the 40 days of Lent with the 40 years of Wilderness wanderings. Biblical Judaism provides the foundation for Christianity, it was the religion of Jesus. Lent is the season during which we reflect on the mystery of the Glory of Israel, Jesus Christ, Who was made a Light for the Gentiles. We should remember that we Gentiles have no natural claim on Him, that He was and is the Glory of His people, Israel, and that He is our Saviour by grace. In gratitude for such a gift we should pray for the good of Israel and for the people whom Jesus called 'my brethren', the Jews. It was for them that He shed bitter tears when He last beheld Jerusalem and it is for their redemption that He will appear a second time. Lent is supposed to be a beautiful time, a time of elevation.
Dan Uzan, a 37-year-old Jewish security guard was shot in the head early last Sunday morning, the 15th Feb., as he stood outside a building belonging to Copenhagen's Great Synagogue, he later died in hospital. Another good man down.
In Dec 2014 The Telegraph reported on "The rise of lone wolf terror attacks."
RT News, have similarly spoken of "lone wolf attacks."
This is the new false trail, labeling the imitators of Mohammed, "Lone Wolves."
The first error that the media persisted in, contrary to all good sense - is that there are Moderate Muslims and Extremist Muslims. Together with PC, this is a fatal hindrance to our ever dealing with the world-destroying evil of Islam because it divides the face of Islam into a good and a bad side. This compels us to deal with it piecemeal, and inevitably consigns us to being too late to stop many of the killings for the very reason that we have to wait for a killing before we can act. And then all that is left for us to do is imprison the killer and bury the victim(s).
However, even with this error there was the small consolation that we could still seek out the specific organizations that inspired these killer, but now that avenue has been blocked by our foolish intelligentsia.
For now, yet another subtle division of the evil Islam has been invented, that of the Lone Wolf. We are now to accept that these Muslim killers are not connected to any specific group of fanatical Islam, that these psychopaths are working independently. This is a gift to Islam, for the killing can continue with the assurance that the blame will never be laid where it belongs, at the doorsteps of every mosque. This claim of Lone Wolf is just another smokescreen that hides Islam's bloody scimitar, and keeps the perplexed world at bay.
We must once and for all recognize that it matters not whether this or that particular Muslim is a potential killer, or whether or not we can name a fanatical sect that he represents. Enough of this nonsense! The fact is that the entire root of the ideology is corrupt and must be banned in all civilized countries. There is no cure for it.
But, alas, the modern liberal mindset, nurtured on a diet of multiculturalism and equality is incapable of concluding that all these so-called lone wolves are devout Muslims and that it is the ideology of Islam that continues to produce such monsters. There is a wicked heart within Islam, not only is it an all-consuming ideology based upon a lie, but it is also a corrosive evil in the hearts and minds of 1.6 billion people.
Islam, they continue to state, is not the problem. Islam is a great and wonderful Abrahamic religion. The problem, they say, is that some Muslims have misinterpreted the "holy" Koran and have become radicalized and have joined terrorist organizations. So, we attack the organizations. Now they say, these killers are merely Lone Wolf psychopaths. Now there's nothing we can do except scratch our foolish heads and hope that the killing stops or that the fantasy of Moderate Islam will come to our aid.
By insisting, firstly, that the house of Islam has an imaginary moderate majority and only a minority of fanatics, and, secondly, by now claiming that the killers are Lone Wolves, our educated classes have managed to secure our own defeat. Until they accept the disturbing truth that Islam is rotten from its foundations to its minarets, we are digging our own grave and that of good men like Dan Uzan, peace be upon him.
The following is an excerpt from a fine article,What ISIS Really Wants, in The Atlantic by Graeme Wood dated March 2015. I highly recommend you go read the entire article, share it with your friends and keep a copy for future reference.
The reality is that the Islamic State is Islamic. Very Islamic. Yes, it has attracted psychopaths and adventure seekers, drawn largely from the disaffected populations of the Middle East and Europe. But the religion preached by its most ardent followers derives from coherent and even learned interpretations of Islam.
Virtually every major decision and law promulgated by the Islamic State adheres to what it calls, in its press and pronouncements, and on its billboards, license plates, stationery, and coins, “the Prophetic methodology,” which means following the prophecy and example of Muhammad, in punctilious detail. Muslims can reject the Islamic State; nearly all do. But pretending that it isn’t actually a religious, millenarian group, with theology that must be understood to be combatted, has already led the United States to underestimate it and back foolish schemes to counter it. We’ll need to get acquainted with the Islamic State’s intellectual genealogy if we are to react in a way that will not strengthen it, but instead help it self-immolate in its own excessive zeal.
Control of territory is an essential precondition for the Islamic State’s authority in the eyes of its supporters. This map, adapted from the work of the Institute for the Study of War, shows the territory under the caliphate’s control as of January 15, along with areas it has attacked. Where it holds power, the state collects taxes, regulates prices, operates courts, and administers services ranging from health care and education to telecommunications.
In November, the Islamic State released an infomercial-like video tracing its origins to bin Laden. It acknowledged Abu Musa’b al Zarqawi, the brutal head of al‑Qaeda in Iraq from roughly 2003 until his killing in 2006, as a more immediate progenitor, followed sequentially by two other guerrilla leaders before Baghdadi, the caliph. Notably unmentioned: bin Laden’s successor, Ayman al Zawahiri, the owlish Egyptian eye surgeon who currently heads al‑Qaeda. Zawahiri has not pledged allegiance to Baghdadi, and he is increasingly hated by his fellow jihadists. His isolation is not helped by his lack of charisma; in videos he comes across as squinty and annoyed. But the split between al-Qaeda and the Islamic State has been long in the making, and begins to explain, at least in part, the outsize bloodlust of the latter.
Zawahiri’s companion in isolation is a Jordanian cleric named Abu Muhammad al Maqdisi, 55, who has a fair claim to being al-Qaeda’s intellectual architect and the most important jihadist unknown to the average American newspaper reader. On most matters of doctrine, Maqdisi and the Islamic State agree. Both are closely identified with the jihadist wing of a branch of Sunnism called Salafism, after the Arabic al salaf al salih, the “pious forefathers.” These forefathers are the Prophet himself and his earliest adherents, whom Salafis honor and emulate as the models for all behavior, including warfare, couture, family life, even dentistry.
The Islamic State awaits the army of “Rome,” whose defeat at Dabiq, Syria, will initiate the countdown to the apocalypse.
The United States is handicapped by President Barack Hussein Obama who refuses to admit ISIS is Islamic, the stupidity is impossible to understand ... Except for the belief that his sympathies lie with them and cares nothing for the Christians and moderates that are being slaughtered.
Following takfiri doctrine, the Islamic State is committed to purifying the world by killing vast numbers of people. The lack of objective reporting from its territory makes the true extent of the slaughter unknowable, but social-media posts from the region suggest that individual executions happen more or less continually, and mass executions every few weeks.
Centuries have passed since the wars of religion ceased in Europe, and since men stopped dying in large numbers because of arcane theological disputes. Hence, perhaps, the incredulity and denial with which Westerners have greeted news of the theology and practices of the Islamic State. Many refuse to believe that this group is as devout as it claims to be, or as backward-looking or apocalyptic as its actions and statements suggest.
January 29, 2015, was Hijab Day at NP3 High School, in Sacramento, California. One student who is interning for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) gave a presentation on Islamophobia and in no time at all, the befuddled faculty, staff and students were “encouraged” by principal, Tom Rutten, to wear a hijab – a veil that covers the woman’s head and chest.
What began as the seventh century Bedouin woman’s attempt at privacy and protection from the desert has become a veil symbolic of a woman’s indignity and servitude. As Nonie Darwish so aptly explained in her book, Cruel and Usual Punishment, women have come to represent the totality of evil and inferiority in Islamic teaching.
Considered lacking in intelligence and religion, women are seen as half the worth of men in a Shari’a court; in the case of rape, her accusation has no worth without four witnesses. Women may be raped for wearing “indecent” clothing, and beaten by their husbands for leaving the house unaccompanied by a male relative. If her behavior further irritates, he may imprison her without food and clothing, and arrange for stoning until dead. In this despotic society, women bear the honor of the male, so that girls and women may be killed by a father who fears his esteem has been sullied.
The hijabs and burqas serve the purpose of enforcing women to obey Shari'a and submit to men. Furthermore, they are obligated to defend this life of bondage or else risk their own destruction at the hand of their families. It is because of such constant fear, that many women are defensive when challenged by non-Muslims. Some may even try to earn honor and respect by joining the radicals for violent jihad (holy war against the infidel).
Just when everyone’s attention has been directed toward ISIS and some of the most despicable crimes ever committed, and our government is loathe to war with our planet's unequalled brutality, Jordan’s King Abdullah assumed the role of world leader. Such activity continues to distract us so that we ignore the evils unfolding within our own country – the war of the Moderates who exploit children in incalculable ways.
ISIS and Boko Haram, who hope to establish a shared Muslim empire, have lured thousands of American and European children to join their jihad against Western civilization. The UK mirror reported that, within a single two-week period alone, the Islamic State kidnapped about 3,000 Yazidi women and children, and Boko Haram kidnaps young girls by the hundreds from private schools for sexual slavery. European teenage boys are persuaded to join ISIS with cash offers, rap videos, and tales of adventure. Young women are enticed by adventure and romance, only to be forced to live in the nude as sex slaves, beaten, shared among friends, and raped to bear the next generation of jihadists. The International Labour Organization estimates 1.2 million children are trafficked for exploitation each year.
Chechen Muslims, with their violent history, were responsible for the 2004 Beslan school hostage crisis, when they captured 1,200 people (including 777 children), terrorized and raped the hostages. The death toll was 331, including 186 children. Palestinian Muslims have bombed Israeli school buses and built terror tunnels that led to children’s dormitories and classrooms.
Reports now include news that King Abdullah of Jordan has quoted Clint Eastwood, and that he has even suited up to pilot a plane to help take down ISIS. The Eastwood film he quoted was “Unforgiven” and he promised that he would go after ISIS.
According to Rep. Duncan Hunter, last Tuesday Abdullah met with the U.S. House Armed Services Committee where he quoted Eastwood. The King said “The only problem we’re going to have is running out of fuel and bullets.” But I think we should tell him not to worry – the USA, has more oil reserves than Saudi Arabia and is now exporting it. Plus there are plenty of bullets – in fact today I got an email with several photographs from Texas – one said “sorry there will be no warning shots – we are conserving bullets.” Anyway, somehow I don’t think the Jordanians do warning shots – hence, more bullets are directed at the bad guys.
We should remember that by Abdullah quoting Eastwood he was making it clear that he is willing to go after (hence interested in defeating) ISIS. So what is wrong with the so called “leaders” in Washington, DC? The problem may lie in two major factors:
• President Obama has sworn that he would stand with the Muslims (not America which he has sworn to defend), and most Democrats stand with Obama. Both sides are Muslim in this case, but their very name and certainly their ideology proclaims that ISIS is more Islamic (i.e. ‘holier than thou’). Furthermore Obama has no use for kings (duh, some countries/cultures have them - it is a fact of life and sometimes a necessity). Plus Obama has a habit of supporting tyrannies, or the worse of two tyranny who may oppose each other and he hates military action.
• Nearly all Democrats, and most certainly the current president, believe that talk equals action. Hence if they say something it is real, they think this is so because they believe it (good does that mean if I believe hard enough then there really and truly are unicorns?). Action is unimportant or irrelevant to them.
While I cannot say I know Jordan, I have lived in the Middle East and people in the Middle East (unlike Western elites) believe that actions speak louder than words. There is an understanding there that words without action are meaningless. This is based on reality – a reality of the Middle East.
What prompted Jordan’s King Abdullah to quote Eastwood’s film? Simple. ISIS’ brutal slaying of a Jordanian pilot. Abdullah was angry – good, we need some angry Arabs mowing down stupid angry Arabs who lash out at those who don’t agree with them. While I am no fan of Jordan, or of King Abdullah, he seems to be loyal to his country and a real man who is willing to take action. If only the USA were so lucky.
No one should forget that Abdullah’s father, King Hussein, was the leader of Jordan during the Jordanian Civil War between September 1970 and July 1971. In this war he defeated tens of thousands of the so-called Palestinians. While Abdullah was just a child (born in 1962) he must be fully aware of his father’s success in this action. Although his British born mother was a convert to Islam, Abdullah is all Arab (with a ‘Palestinian’ wife no less). After all the family still styles themselves the Hashemite (in today’s Saudi Arabia) Kingdom of Jordan. SO he understands war very well, and knows that his poor country (the only part of the Middle East without oil) can ill afford the presence of ISIS.
In a different context as the late, great Andrew Breitbart said this is “WAR#” Now if only the elites, who are very often effete elites, of the USA just understood.
This commentary is about Obama, Israel and why he has done what he has done for the last 6 years.
A lot of people think that “President” Obama has done some very scatterbrained things, (You’re not going to get an argument from me!) a hodgepodge of actions that seem not to have any common sense or even a connection, But, regarding Israel, There is a method to his madness.
Most people will agree that The Islamic Republic of Iran and their lackeys in the Mid-East, are Israel’s main enemies. Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas, Fatah (Palestinian Authority) and now of course the Sunni based ISIS or Islamic State. Since May 1948, the one thing the Great State of Israel have always been able to count on is the United States of America and a President that will always be there, thick or thin, side by side with the Jewish State. Since 2009, No More!
Now, there is a Far left Liberal minded, Palestinian supporting, President that desperately wants to be the President that settled the “Middle East Problem”... In his mind, with his zero fact based strategic understanding of the “on the ground” tactical situation in Israel, he has done nothing but create additional stress upon stress against Israel with his, “return to the 67 borders” mentality. He has repeatedly disrespected the democratically elected Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel on various trips to Washington DC, he has failed to take action when Syria attached their own citizens with Chemical weapons, even though he said by doing so would be a “Red Line” to the United States. Why? The “Why”, in my view is quite simple:
