Having made the case that the Constitution of the United States and common sense dictate that states, not the Federal government, must be the arbitrators of what happens in our schools, it is time to discuss Jeb Bush – who seems interested in becoming a candidate for the Presidency in 2016. So, I have a message for Governor Bush.
Dear Gov. Bush,
We are on to you. You were apparently a fine governor at one time, but that was a few years ago, before you drifted pretty far left for someone with an “R” after his name. Today everyone has the internet. People are far more knowledgeable and savvy than they were even in 2000. President Obama and the Democrats have, by their unconstitutional policies and their actions, opened the eyes of a large number of people. America is a center-right country, whereas you and your whole family are at best center-left, although “Democrat Light” is probably more accurate.
Don’t even think of utilizing your wife, Columba, in your effort to win the White House; it will simply make you look like an opportunist. She is Hispanic. So what? So are a lot of people. This is totally lame and exploiting her background will be very transparent while delighting the media who hate all Republicans and will find it an excellent way to do what they want to do – turn on you.
Go, please go, I don’t care how or why. Maybe the Democrat Party would like to, as some have suggested, have you run with Mrs. Clinton. Ideologically this would be a better fit for you. The base of the Republican Party doesn’t want you and maybe some of the rest of the party sees through you as well.
One of these Christmases I fully expect the muslims to issue a defense of the 1st century arab, the late, great, Herod. They would make some outrageous claim that all he intended to do was to worship the child born in Bethlehem and that he'd been misunderstood and maligned for two millennia. The liberals and atheists would applaud and, to the accusation of infanticide, our politicians would assure us that the killers were evidently "lone wolves", acting outside of Herod's authority, and to suggest otherwise is racist....or something. The muslims would not have to seek far afield to find their own reason for the flight of the Holy Family: the nefarious Joos, this time in collusion with the Romans. It is not far-fetched to say that, were Herod alive today, he would qualify for a hefty handout from the western nations to help the dear man build schools and hospitals. Something just as absurd as this scenario is being suggested today, in David's (note that) City of Bethlehem.
There is a reason the administration of President Barack Obama is called a regime. The term is used consistently to describe tyrannical governments. Technically it doesn’t have to mean that, but in recent years it is the only term for an administration with these inclinations.
It is well known that the difference between Fidel and Raul Castro is that Fidel has had thousands of Cubans executed. Raul Castro on the other hand simple whips out his revolver and shoots them himself. In short, the Castro brothers are really, really bad people. Granted their predecessor Batista was no saint, but according to the UN’s 1960 Statistical Yearbook Cuba ranked as having the eighth highest wage on earth and ranked third among eleven Latin American counties for being well-fed. That was before Castro’s communist policies really took effect and Cuba has become one of the worst places in the world in every way, and that is saying something.
Cuba is only 90 miles from Florida and the list of Americans of Cuban descent in Florida and throughout America is long, varied, and illustrious. The interesting thing about it though is that nearly all of them, or their parents, left Cuba once Castro took over. It should also be pointed out that more than one million Cubans (Cuba had 11 million according to the 2012 census) of all social classes left for the United States and no doubt many, many more went elsewhere. The United States is the closest place to Cuba, and although the official language is English, learning it (as was done in the past) was preferable to going to a Spanish speaking country bogged down in poverty (as nearly all are), or a failed state such as Mexico where the drug cartels rule the country.
Of human sacrifice, and parents tears. Milton. Paradise Lost.
Just when we thought that it couldn't get any worse, the faithful followers of Mohammed have provided the world with yet more evidence that their religion pre-dates both Judaism and Christianity. That is to say, many of its barbarous actions pre-date the blessings of Sinai and Calvary, when God Himself stepped into history to show mankind the way out of darkness and into light.
During the seasons of Chanukah and Christmas, when Jews celebrate the miracle of oil for the temple light and Christians celebrate the coming of Light into the world, the depraved disciples of allah have brought darkness into, of all places, a childrens' school.
Storming the Army Public School in Peshawar, Pakistan, 6 warriors of Mohammed armed with machine guns and rocket launchers against children with pens and pencils, slaughtered 148 and wounded a further 121, without a single loss to themselves, barring their eternal souls. Immediately following their success the 6 sent a message to their fearless commanders, "We have killed all the children, now what do we do?" Modesty forbade them mentioning the courage they displayed in burning a teacher to death. Unfortunately for them, men equally armed turned up and despatched them to where they belong.
Excuse the sarcasm, it's becoming more difficult by the day to speak of these atrocities in any normal manner. Shakespeare himself would have been lost for words, resorting to something like "a deed without a name". Precisely, there's no name, no word.
Chief in the litany of crime, the killing of children is the most despicable, cowardly, heartless, conscienceless, and inhuman. The act is not that of an animal but that of a non-human, an infinitely lower form of creature, one that has substituted the imago Dei for the imago diabolus. Lower than the animals, he has become a devil.
One Islamic State militant is alone responsible for killing 150 women, including pregnant women and young teenagers, because they refused to marry members of the barbaric militant army, according to Iraqi officials.
Abu Anas Al-Libi is suspected of mercilessly gunning down the women, most of whom were Yazidi, because they refused to enter into sham temporary marriages with Islamic State fighters simply to have sex in what the terrorists believe to be a Koranic loophole.
“Abu Anas Al-Libi killed more than 150 women and girls, some of whom were pregnant after refusing to accept Jihad marriage,” the Iraqi Ministry of Human Rights said in a statement.
Al- Libi is not the terrorist with the same name who is alleged to have helped carry out East Africa’s embassy bombings back in 1998 that killed 224 people in Kenya and Tanzania.
Norah O’Donnell is called an “anchorwoman,” defined as “a television reporter who coordinates a broadcast to which several correspondents contribute.” However, would she not vet the material before airing erroneous contributions, or is there intentional complicity?
O’Donnell reported the brutal attack by two Palestinian boys in a Jerusalem synagogue, killing four rabbis and injuring seven. In fact, it was a massacre, with blood everywhere, including on the Torah - but she called the synagogue a “contested religious site.” Contested? Neither the Har Nof synagogue nor the Har Nof neighborhood of Jerusalem is contested. Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the Jewish people, has been the capital of the Jewish people through most of history, and was declared the capital when Israel became a state; therefore, the neighborhood and the synagogue are indisputably legal. If it is contested, it is only a war tactic by jihadists, who will use any method to garner supporters when they fear the possibility of loss by modern warfare. Does O’Donnell also contest the Christian churches or Bahi’a, Buddhist, or Hindu temples in Israel? Does she contest the Al Aqsa mosque, over which dominion was ceded by General Moshe Dayan, whether out of generosity or naïveté and his hope for peace with barbarians. How could he have known that the courtyard would someday be a soccer field for boys who use severed heads for sport? Perhaps he should have been more aware of Islam’s bloody 1400-year history!
Ahhhh, the Al Aqsa mosque should be contested, because it sits on the Temple Mount, the holiest site in Judaism, where King Solomon built the First Temple in Jerusalem as a monument to God and a permanent home for the inner sanctuary, which contained the Ark of the Covenant that held the two stone tablets that Moses received at Mt. Horeb. The ground under the Temple Mount to this day contains artifacts that verify the existence of the Jewish people who worshipped in that Temple; the coins of the monetary system used by the Jews before the Christian Era, pottery, stones with inscriptions, an arch, a colonnade, a grand stairway, Solomon’s Stables, thousands of mikvehs (ceremonial baths), and the continuation of the Western Wall now leading to the city walls and the Lion’s Gate. It should also be contested because the imams have the audacity to preach hate and death to all the Jews from the mosque that sits on Jewish land!
I would like to hear from CBS’s Morning news show and Norah O’Donnell concerning her contesting the Har Nof synagogue; I believe a sincere apology to the Jewish people and a statement of correction are in order.
F-ENEMIES – that’s a newly coined word to describe female enemies and two major American F-enemies have been in the news recently, both of whom seem to have no respect for the American people or our positions. Senator Mary Landrieu (D-LA) a.k.a. “the Louisiana Purchase” who lied, and lied, and lied to the good people of Louisiana has been in the news for losing an election. Incidentally she was named “the Louisiana Purchase”* because she only voted for Obamacare after she got a payoff, but that was a few years ago. Last Saturday she was finally been run out of office by an upset when Bill Cassidy won the runoff election and became Louisiana’s new Senator in her stead.
I call Mary Landrieu an enemy because she has been both pro-Obama and pro-abortion (so how does killing a female before she is born make you pro-woman?). She has a 100% rating from NARAL, a 0% rating from the Louisiana Right to Life Federation, yet has tried to convince the people of Louisiana that she is prolife (could that be because Louisiana is the most pro-life state in the union?). The NRA endorsed her opponent in the recent election and she has voted in favor of an Internet sales tax. In fact she has a record of voting 97% of the time in agreement with Barack Obama.
In recent months she has promoted the Keystone Pipeline (oil is very important to the state of Louisiana), but frankly that seems a little suspect. Does anyone seriously believe she would be in favor of Keystone when Obama and the Democrat Party is so firmly opposed to it?
The other low life f-enemy is Ruth Bader Ginsburg (b.1933) the 81 year old Supreme Court Justice who had minor surgery last Wednesday – a fact that has received very little attention. The surgery was to place a stent in her right coronary artery. It is well known that she had surgery for colon cancer in 1999 and that her health has not been good, none-the-less she has no plans to retire. This is very good news for the moment, as the 113th Congressional session ends December 26, 2013. It is possible that President Barack Obama would make a recess appointment, however if he does it would be short-lived – or should be, but when has he ever followed the Constitution?
For those who have not kept up with these things Judge Ginsburg was appointed to the U.S. Court of Appeals of the Columbia Circuit by President Jimmy Carter (that probably tells you everything). She has taken a very strong pro-abortion stand, has dissed (disrespected) the American Constitution and has been a General Counsel of the ACLU. What most people don’t remember however is that Ruth Bader Ginsburg was one of judges who threw Jonathan Pollard under the bus. Now regardless of your take on his guilt or innocence the fact is that he has served far longer than any American ever has for exactly the same charge.
The next session of Congress begins on January 3rd and the Republicans will then have control of the Senate. Appointments to the Supreme Court go through the Senate hence it seems highly probable that any appointment approved in the Senate, as long as the Republicans have control, to replace Judge Ginsburg would only go to a Conservative – with a capital C.
*At the same time Sen. Ben Nelson (D-NB) received the nickname “Cornhusker Kickback” for voting for this monstrosity in exchange for favors.
As one holds a copy of Dr. Phyllis Chesler's updated book "The New Anti-Semitism" in their hands, we can all breathe a collective sigh and exclaim "this tome hasn't come a minute too soon." Thanks to the excellent research and prophetic analysis conducted by this acclaimed author, lecturer and activist, the reader is afforded the necessary context and perspective with which to understand the invidious phenomenon of contemporary Jew hatred.
Written over a decade ago in a compelling, easy to read and free flowing style, Dr. Chesler's premise was and still is that classical anti-Semitism as espoused by such nihilists and evil madmen as Hitler and the scores that preceded him has now been deemed to be "politically correct" by the trendy denizens of the Western academy and the "intellectual" crowds. Chesler was among the first to have seen and denounced the suicidal alliance between the Western intelligentsia and fundamental Islam. The anti-Semite needed a new and more acceptable veneer and the little place on the globe known as Israel would serve as the perfect subterfuge. Thus, Zionism does not equal racism but anti-Zionism does. In fact, it is part of what makes the new anti-Semitism "new."
There is no doubt that the al Aqsa intifada and the traumatic events of 9/11 served as an impetus for Dr. Chesler to pen this book as she naturally drew a correlation between the kind of terrorism that had become endemic to the state of Israel and the Jihadic terrorism that was let loose upon the world. "War and a new kind of anti-Semitism had been declared," she writes.
In the decades prior to the 9/11 and the advent of al Qaeda, Chesler is acutely aware of the festering anti-Semitism that appears to be increasingly more ubiquitous with each passing moment. She details major events that she personally encountered during her years as part of the vanguard of the second wave feminist movement and the reader can easily connect the proverbial dots to see and feel the palpable resentment of those who championed the politically correct cause against Israel, now known as liberalism.
Always sensing a strong undercurrent of such bigotry in the various human rights movements that came to define her raison d'etre, Chesler is most disheartened when women's conferences and forums such as Copenhagen and a pre-Durban one were hijacked by Jew hating agendas. She justifiably laments the fact that some important conferences are cancelled because of anti-Semitic and anti-Israel bias. "Women, you see, cannot be accused of racism - unless, of course, they are Jewish women," she sardonically writes.
Because she is keenly aware that anti-Semitism may start with the Jews but never ends with the Jews, she makes the logical connection between the opprobrium that is harbored for both America and Israel by those who assign blame to all forms of human oppression in terms of colonialism, capitalism, and imperialism. "The Palestinian uprising has increasingly been seen as the uprising of all oppressed peoples against their colonial oppressors, that is, Jews, Zionists and Americans," she ruefully observes. And, she notes, few understand that Muslim history is one of imperialism, colonialism, conversion by the sword, gender and religious apartheid, and slavery. Only the post enlightenment Judeo-Christian West are seen as mighty sinners.
Unlike other authors who have offered works of this genre, Chesler's meticulous research is beyond impeccable as she explores the genesis of post 9/11 Islamic terrorism specifically directed against the West and their global interests. Israel, of course is viewed as the little Satan by the retinue of pro-Palestinian apologists and their Western lackeys and Chesler takes the Big Lies and bold propaganda to task by exposing their motives. Case in point: The unfortunate Muhammed Dura incident and the use of "fauxtography" are given more than an ample dose of good old fashioned sunlight as she reveals one of the most egregious anti-Israel hoaxes ever sold to the public; however deceptively.
While reading this book, one is in retrospective mode as we imbibe a seemingly endless litany of horrifying anti-Israel and anti-Jewish events at university campuses that took place in the first decade of the new century and compare them to how much worse they are today. It should come as no surprise that the BDS movement and physical and verbal violence against pro-Israel Jewish students has gained a dangerous degree of momentum, power and economic viability in institutions of higher learning.
Chesler cites the palpable but surreal bellicosity that has become an endemic part of campus life for Jews who wish to express pro-Israel sentiments. Physical attacks, heckling of speakers, academic boycotts, incendiary street theater predicated on distortions, the lies being promulgated at the annual Jew roasting, better known as Israel apartheid week and the infinite amount of Orwellian rhetoric being circulated in every facet of academic life to just name a few. "The New McCarthyism on campus consists of the anti-Israeli and pro-Palestinian point of view. No other view will be tolerated," she writes.
Chesler is under no illusions and does not even attempt to sugarcoat the obvious. European anti-Semitism is at pre-World War II levels and the flames of destruction are being consistently fanned not only by the "usual suspects" but by the formidable fourth estate. The European press she writes "have continuously held Israel accountable for Palestinian terrorism, and justified human homicide bombing as a function of Palestinian "despair."
This book is easy to read yet it is filled with a voluminous amount of facts and is definitely driven by concrete and verifiable data. What causes the words to leap off the pages, however, and to embed themselves in our collective psyches are the nuanced and urbane analyses proffered both by Chesler and by an extensive array of experts. Frightening as it may be, they provide us with the kind of perspective we need to tackle anti-Semitic diatribes.
Yes, Dr. Chesler cautions us to grant this matter the gravitas it deserves and not to dismiss it as mere blather. In the expanded last chapters of the book she prodigiously confronts the Big Lies and blood libels as she challenges the sheer mendacity of pseudo and rather lethal Palestinian narratives in ways that are both comprehensible and thought provoking. On an uplifting note she provides us with ways in which each of us can support Israel and Judaism, either through economic empowerment against boycotts of Israeli made products and development of community and college based pro-Israel programs connecting with individual Israelis as part of our families.
In one of her final exhortations, Dr. Chesler has stumbled upon what may be the most important component in staying afloat as a people as we navigate the turbulent tide of anti-Semitism. She writes: "Dare I say it? I must. I implore Jews to stop fighting with each other. Even if we disagree, we must try to do so respectfully, soulfully....We are an eternal people engaged in an eternal struggle with evil." Definitely words to heed.

I read that Michael Brown's father's church was burned down in the Ferguson riots. I wondered just what kind of 'church' this man attended that would support a criminal like Michael Brown, a criminal, who used drugs, who roughed up a store owner, stole merchandise and attacked a policeman to the point that the policeman was forced to shoot him.
If you go to their website , the first thing you will see is a link to 'watch live', next you will see a link for 'online giving', then you will find this description:
The Flood Christian Church is a life giving church in St Louis that reflects the culture of the community surrounding us. Whether you are investigating faith for the first time, revisiting what Christianity is all about, or are a long time Christ follower, you are welcome at The Flood.
The site is mostly graphics, including one that says: Arrest him now'. I'm assuming that means the policeman?
You can listen to video of the 'pastor' of the Flood Christian Church, Carlton Lee, as he says his church was targeted by white supremacists who wanted to punish him for his support of the Brown family. Everyone knows the rioters were Black.
What you need to know is that on Sunday Lee had baptized Michael Brown Sr, his wife, Cal, and their children. That is this past Sunday...
Let us not confuse Michael Brown's father with his step-father and mother.
Leslie McSpadden is the mother, we know what a fine upstanding woman she by the way her son turned out.
Louis Head is the step-father, who shouted over and over and over "Burn this motherf---er down" and "Burn this bitch down," according to a New York Times video.
Meanwhile, the looting spreads from Ferguson across the nation. The blocking of traffic on Interstate roadways across the nation continues. Businesses are burned, mostly black-owned businesses. People are injured.
Israel’s Government has been contaminated by, the Moral Equivalency Syndrome, the MES. This MES is rampant in the democratic world. In this messed up world, Hamas, a terrorist organization that used its own children as human shields, has been raised to the level of Israel whose medical and agricultural discoveries have saved sick and starving people in Africa.
The Moral Equivalency Syndrome has metamorphosed into a more acute degeneration, the Moral Reversal Syndrome, which reminds us of Isaiah’s warning “Woe unto them that call evil good.”
Moral Reversal animated the Euro-American left-wing supporters of Hamas despite the latter’s use of women and children as human shields in Gaza.
Moral Reversal has been propagated by Euro-American social scientists, typically left-wing atheists.
Strange as it may seem, however, the Moral Reversal prevalent in the pedagogy of the Left is also evident in the political policy of Israeli Prime Ministers who have negotiated with the Jew-killers of the Palestinian Authority. PA Arabs, contrary to the MES, are “evil.” We apologize for using judgmental language, but if we are not to trivialize the behavior of Arabs who use their own children as human bombs to kill Jews, what else shall we call them? Shall we call them “martyrs” and thus justify the insult of Muslims who call infidels apes?
More significantly, if we call these Arabs evil, the Moral Equivalency Syndrome places Israeli Prime Ministers who consort with them on the same level! Let’s start a new page.
